Review

Slightly more corn taste, less cheese flavor, as well as less coating and dirtying of your hands compared to regular cheese balls and Cheetos. I honestly prefer regular cheese balls and Cheetos because of the flavors specifically. These feel like a lighter version and rely more on a corn-like flavor, likely because they aren’t as cheesy, so the corn flavor comes through more. At the very least, they aren’t as messy and won’t leave your hands bright orange!

Three slightly different chips, all light to moderately crunchy, and all taste like a light pork with a hint of BBQ and salt. Yeah, the tastes are identical and seem to have rubbed off on one another. Also weirdly, they are all more or less uniform in texture despite being different types of chips. It could use more bold flavors and differentiating between the chips, in my opinion.

Both the cheese and guava are light-tasting and complement each other nicely. I can’t make out the cheese flavor exactly, unfortunately, however. It’s like an extremely light-tasting cheese that isn’t punchy, more providing a milky creaminess in contrast to the lightly sweet guava. Both parts are equally soft and easy to bite through. Overall, a good snack with pleasantly mild flavors that work well together.

A mild to moderate crunch from the crispy-rice-like inside. The crunch is quite satisfying, and it surprised me because it looks like it’ll be light and crispy, but it’s harder than that. It’s much more satisfying to bite through—not too airy or too hard either. The flavor is a darker, lightly sweet-tasting, malty chocolate. No bitterness is present, and it’s not too dark or overly malty like typical malt candy or treats. In my opinion, the texture and mouthfeel were the best part—the perfect crunch!

Reminds me of a Lindt truffle, just a different version. They’re equally good, with a sweet, extra-creamy, milky chocolate combination. Overall, it’s mostly chocolate tasting, with a mild arequipe and caramel-ish background, adding to the already creamy chocolate shell, and doing so exceptionally well. The shell itself provides a light crunch, revealing a slightly softer, half-filled, solidified arequipe inside.

Chokis have a very light sweetness and an airy, rice-filled interior, providing a light crunch. The outside is a thin, smooth layer of chocolate. The flavor is mild, corn-like, and chocolatey, though the dominant flavor remains milk chocolate. Overall, it’s a cheaper feeling and reminds me of penny candy.

The obleas itself is just a plain, thin, lightly crunchy, flavorless wafer. But when combined with a layer of arequipe and another wafer tacked on top, it makes for a very tasty, wonderful mouthfeel. Essentially, it’s like an arequipe wafer sandwich! Lightly crunchy on the outside and soft inside, with a taste that’s not too sweet, providing an extra-creamy experience from the arequipe.

Your typical crunchy chips with a noticeable chicken taste. When I first bit in, I was taken aback — something about it tastes off and doesn’t feel right. They’re still not bad; it just feels like too much of an artificial chicken flavor instead of the real thing. More so, compared to other meaty chips, these taste more artificial and fake.

So cute! When you unwrap each of these little bars, you get a thin pamphlet with a picture of a random part of Colombia and information about it. The bars run a tad thin and overall remind me of a Hershey’s bar, perhaps a hint less sweet, but the taste and texture are more or less the same. They’re still reasonably sweet and very creamy!

Like a thinner, longer Tootsie roll, but worse. They’re very chewy, almost hard, and have a cheap, mildly sweet, artificial chocolate. Not even a sense of coconut. At the very least, they eventually soften in your mouth, but it’s too little too late. Unpleasant to eat and not a great flavor.

A mild to moderately sweet artificial candy. I can’t tell what the flavor is; it’s like sugar and a fruity candy. They taste cheap but are surprisingly addictive, especially the texture. The mouthfeel is moderately chewy and starts to melt in your mouth after a bit of chewing.

A lightly chewy, reasonably thick granola-like bar, but it feels even softer, resembling a baked oat bar. The taste is a sweet, creamy, and milky coconut flavor, with a light caramel-like background. Overall, it leans toward its sugary coconut flavor. Moreover, it’s exceptionally creamy, with a soft, slightly toasted mouthfeel that’s not enough to give it a full crunchy experience, but noticeable enough. Easy to bite through, feels reasonably thick, and a great combo of sweet flavors.

These look cool, but unfortunately, there isn’t much to write home about. It’s a reasonably sweet, sugary-tasting, reasonably thick gum. It is watermelon-like in terms of flavor but does not blow you away like other fruity gums. The flavor also does not last long. Overall, it is quite boring aside from the looks.

These have a fairly sweet, generic fruity flavor. I absolutely love the texture, with its thin and chewy, thick, and pliable texture. Unfortunately, I didn’t get much of any sourness–maybe just a hint from the light dusting on the outside of these. Other than that, these are similar to candies like peach rings and other gummies. Sweet, thick, and pliable, and overall quite tasty and addictive, but definitely not sour.

These smell like a lightly sweet coconut cookie, but biting in, it’s much sweeter than that. It has a tasty, non-bitter, and not too artificial sugary coconut flavor. There is little nuance, though, as these are entirely a sugary coconut flavor with a biscuit essence from the cookie itself—both the cookie and the creme seem to share the same flavor.

The creme part is quite thin, but the cookie part makes up for it, remaining soft enough to have a good mouthfeel and a soft crunch when you bite into it. In milk, they get soggy very fast as they seem to absorb all the liquid, but the flavor mostly remains the same. Lastly, I love the imprinted Cocosette logo pressed and detailed onto each cookie!

If you blindfolded me, I would have guessed a light tomato with an equally balanced, slightly more than mild seasoning. This seasoning seems like a mix of several things, including salt, a pinch of pepper, and perhaps some onion. It’s weird — none of the flavors really stand out; it’s more like a mild-to-moderate, almost generically seasoned, inoffensive chip. I say generic, but the flavor is different than most other spiced chips, as what you have here is a little more unique and less punchy than many other flavored chips. Aside from that, these are your standard, reasonably crunchy chips.

With the smell of a sweet wafer biscuit, the taste of these matches exactly that. It is mostly authentic tiramisu, with a complementary, very mild wafer flavor, but really, the primary flavor here is a sweet, sugary tiramisu. If anything, the coffee flavor itself could have been a little more bold — it’s more of a sugary coffee, if that makes sense.

For a wafer, it is definitely on the sweeter side, with a more pronounced flavor than its competition. Then, in terms of texture, it’s your usual wafer cubes. Lightly crunchy with a few layers of cream, both of which provide a light but noticeable nuance, where the cream is layered just enough to provide an additional softness to the already light wafer-like crunch.

Overall, while I’m not sure I got any explicit Bailey’s or alcoholic notes, it still comes across as a fairly sweet, creamy tiramisu wrapped in a wafer form.

Review

Four different flavors are represented: Chocolate, Strawberry, Vanilla, and Arequipe.

All of these look barely filled, unfortunately. They’re mostly made of a soft, lightly crunchy wafer biscuit that flakes and breaks a bit apart as you eat through it, which provides most of the mouthfeel. They don’t feel too cheap, but at the same time, are definitely not premium by any means.

Surprisingly, despite the lack of cream on the inside, all of them still provide a good enough flavor and sweetness, even stronger than some other filled wafers I’ve had. They all mostly look the same, with a light white swirl on each of the tan-looking wafers. Overall, the vanilla was my favorite!

Chocolate: A pleasantly sweet milk chocolate flavor. It almost reminds me of a chocolate milk drink, with a light wafer-biscuity flavor. Overall, it is reasonably creamy and has a notable milk chocolate flavor.

Strawberry: A light strawberry mixed with a good chunk of sugar. Its strawberry does not taste artificial or authentic; it’s just a sugary, mildly creamy, strawberry-candy-ish flavor. With the biscuit, it’s a nice combination of both flavors.

Vanilla: The strongest flavored one, with a clear, distinctly bold, sweet vanilla. It feels authentic, and with the added sugar, it is simply on another level. Perhaps one of the most boldly flavored vanilla-filled wafers I’ve had!

Arequipe: This is mostly sugary tasting with a caramel note. I wouldn’t say it is explicitly aromatic; it reminds me more of an American caramel flavor. Still, overall, it’s primarily sweet-tasting and needs more of that bold, creamy arequipe flavor to really stand out.

I absolutely love this treat box — and here is why: there are so many little treats, presented in such an elegant manner! This primarily consists of a variety of guava, arequipe, and dulce de leche in all different forms! They combine these ingredients in different ways, for example, two solid-soft little cups of dulce de leche and arequipe that come with adorably small spoons, a large piece of guava with a chunk of arequipe on it, dulce de leche and arequipe in different types of soft round bites, arequipe with coconut, guava with sugar crystals, guava wrapped in a bijao leaf, and more.

Overall, everything ranges from mildly to moderately sweet, and the textures are mostly soft and pleasant to eat. The combinations of the primary three flavors and ingredients, and their presentation, are simply wonderful!

Cookies and cream
A light, thin white cream surrounds a chocolate wafer. It is sweet for a wafer, providing a primary sugary, white chocolate-cream-like taste with a lighter chocolate background. For the most part, its cookies-and-cream flavor comes through, though I’d appreciate a bit more chocolate. Overall, my favorite of the bunch!

Limon
A milk chocolate shell surrounded a pastel green wafer–such a cool color! Biting in yields exactly that: a primary chocolate flavor with a lighter, sugary lime. It’s not at all punchy or bitter, more like a candy-like lime flavor. Overall, I’m surprised and was worried this flavor would be weird or off-putting, but it’s a nicely sweet combination, especially when combined with the wafer flavor.

Fresa
Milk chocolate shell around a tan wafer. Digging in, I get mostly chocolate, but also a noticeable amount of sugary strawberry. None of it tastes weird or fake, and the strawberry is quite creamy and pleasant, with the sugar and wafer parts complementing it nicely. This flavor kind of reminds me of a chocolate-dipped strawberry candy!

Vanilla
This is the most generic-tasting wafer, although a little sweeter than your average one. It’s a combination of mild chocolate and a more pronounced, generic vanilla wafer flavor. All the flavors work well together, but again, this is the most traditional-tasting one. I like how it’s sweeter than your average vanilla wafer, especially with the pinch of chocolate, which puts it a cut above the competition.

Chocolate 
Milk chocolate shell with a tan wafer inside. The overall flavor is milk chocolate with a mild wafer flavor. It reminds me of chocolate milk and is reminiscent of many other chocolate-flavored wafers. However, it is sweeter than your typical wafer. Overall, a solidly sweet, milk chocolate wafer.

Review

I’m immediately hit with a sweet, caramelized syrup and vanilla ice cream. Yes, not exactly arequipe in my opinion, as this falls on the sweeter side, resembling more of a candy caramel from the generous and thick arequipe syrup. It makes the entire experience super sweet, and it doesn’t stop there either! The addition of the solid, crunchy Jet milk chocolate balls and little white rice-like crispie pieces on top is a nice contrast to the super thick creaminess of it all, and adds a further tasty element to the sweet experience by throwing in chocolately background flavor. Overall, if you blindfolded me, I would have guessed this is a new American-style caramel McFlurry with mild milk chocolate and crunchy pieces, not arquipe, unfortunately.

A very good addition to the McFlurry lineup, especially wonderful because it’s much more loaded vs. their traditional M&Ms and Oreo flavors. Now just bring it to the US!

Review

This double-decker brownie looks like a typical packaged brownie, but bigger. There is an extra-thin layer of filling in the center, and an equally thin chocolate coating around the entire treat. Unfortunately, unlike its looks, the texture and mouthfeel remind me of a cheap, dry brownie. Everything about it, from the shell to the inside, simply feels cheap and, well, needs some moisture.

Then, in terms of flavor, it’s a uniformly light to medium-dark, mild to moderately sweet, cheap, dull chocolate. Unfortunately, the filling is so thin that it makes no contribution whatsoever! Overall, it’s a cheap-tasting, semi-dark brownie with a dry eating experience. Not terrible, but definitely not great.

Review

These remind me of those cheap chocolate-covered Easter marshmallows you find everywhere. These are round and fairly thick, with the marshmallow center getting thicker toward the center. The chocolate shell is extremely thin and breaks right apart as you bite in. This shell is slightly dark and very sweet, as is the soft, lightly chewy, cheap marshmallow inside. I just love this mouthfeel and sweetness!

In terms of actual flavor, it’s mostly a sugary taste with a lighter, dark chocolate, and an even milder banana. Honestly, I could barely taste any banana; the sweetness and cheap marshmallow flavor really overtook it. Overall, I love these as they resemble some of my favorite marshmallow Easter candies. The cheap feeling sugary marshmallow inside, the super thin chocolate shell–the entire eating experience–yum!

A thin white shell encases a reddish pink filling. Overall, it’s fairly thick yet very soft and easy to bite through. The composition is something like marshmallow and solidified yogurt. If I had to compare, it really resembles those yogurt-based treats and candies, even in its flavor!

This flavor, like its texture, is like a yogurt candy — creamy, sweet, with white chocolate alongside a light strawberry. If you blindfolded me, I’d have guessed this was a yogurt ball in a square form. I also just love how soft and thick it is, not to mention the extra-creamy, sweet flavor! A yogurty strawberry milkshake in candy form? Yes, definitely!

Review

These are thick, almost nacho-like white chips. They have a fairly thick crunch but also aren’t too hard or sharp. There are little green seasoning bits in them, resembling a sour cream and onion chip. They also apply a moderate coating to your hands, similar to the coating on cheese-based chips.

The flavor is primarily corn, but after a few bites, you start to notice a seasoned cheese flavor. It’s not at all bitter or artificial; it feels and tastes like a fresh piece of seasoned, nacho-like white cheese slapped onto a crunchy corn base. It’s a good combo that would benefit from a dipping sauce to really elevate them — which, as I said earlier, these do remind me of nacho chips, and frankly, I could see them pairing well with almost any dip! You might even convince me these are just mildly cheesy regular nacho chips you found at the store–no arepa needed! 

Lastly, do these taste like arepas? Sort of. It really depends on how you cook and season them (the arepas), not to mention, these chips are crunchy. I would also say that, overall, these have a stronger corn flavor than standard grilled arepas. The addition of the white-tasting cheese does provide a decent rendition of some types of cheese you would add to arepas; however,

A thick, chewy, white shell encases a small piece of an orange part, which is almost as chewy and thick. Know those typical grandma-like, extra chewy caramels? Like that, these caramels are identical; The mouthfeel tastes cheap and rubbery, and will work your jaw, to say the least.

It’s very sweet, with a flavor that reminds me of creamy sugar, notes of cheap white chocolate, and artificial caramel. I wouldn’t say it’s explicitly tres leches or dulce de leche, but in a way it’s definitely got a cream-and-caramel flavor, so maybe it sort of is? Anyway, don’t mistake it, though: this caramel flavor is much creamier and tastes a bit more premium and less fake compared to other cheap caramels. Simply put, I like these more. They are a lot sweeter, and while they do resemble and feel like a cheap artificial caramel candy, they’re not nearly as bad, with the saving grace being the flavor and sweetness.

These are pale orange colored, definitely not white as shown on the package! They are, though, indeed squares, and you are able to break individual pieces off the bar. In terms of texture, they’re reasonably soft and creamy, with a light crunch–pretty typical of any softer, creamy-based chocolate bar from other brands. Unfortunately, the filling is very thin and has the same composition and mouthfeel as the shell–yeah, it really isn’t doing anything here.

The flavor is fairly sweet and creamy white chocolate — though not exactly white chocolate; it’s more like a different version. It’s not as punchy or super sweet as a white chocolate bar — I guess this is just more creamy and a touch lighter, making for a more pleasant experience. In a way, this may be the infused Bailey’s flavor. Although at the same time, I don’t explicitly taste any alcohol, either. Nonetheless, overall, this bar provides a rich, creamy, moderately sweet, almost white-tasting chocolate-eating experience.

Review

All of the submarines look a lot like Twinkies, but are a little thinner and slightly shorter. They all have that moist, artificial-cake consistency, too, where the outside sticks to the inner packaging and takes a nudge to get it out.

The filling is mixed, with some having barely any while others were filled generously. When you bite in, you’re first greeted with a moist, light, buttery vanilla and fairly sweet artificial cake–just like Twinkies or other snack cakes. It’s a good experience, especially with how soft the fillings are. Overall, while I enjoyed the variety, most of these all feel cheap and generic. My favorite was the strawberry submarine because it was so sweet!

Lastly, the mini muffins were generic — see my review below for those!

Submarine (Arequipe)
It’s a light arequipe-flavored filling, though just enough to notice. It tastes genuine, not artificial, weird, or cheap, but for the most part, the cake flavor dominates the profile through its sweetness. Disappointing but not horrible.

Submarine (Strawberry)
Wow, this has a distinct, sugary strawberry flavor. It pairs well with the vanilla buttery cake flavor, too, giving a sweet strawberry candy milkshake vibe. It’s notably much sweeter than the other submarines here. My favorite of the bunch!

Submarine (Chocolate with vanilla cream filling and sprinkles)
Unlike the others, this has large white chocolate chips attached to the shell of the mildly dark chocolate-looking cake. I also appreciate the thin-shelled coating around it all. Unfortunately, the sprinkles and shell together don’t add anything, as they have the same soft texture as the soft cake inside. Also weirdly, this was slightly drier than the other flavors!

Biting in, notably, however, mine didn’t have much filling! It was such a tiny amount located on the side, ugh! The flavor is your typical, semi-dark (between milky and dark), moderately sweet, cheap-flavored chocolate. It’s not bad by any means. Basically, if you’ve ever had a super cheapo chocolate snack cake, it’s a lot like that, kind of. For example, I think Hostess, Drake’s, and a few other brands have the flavor and texture beat, so aim for those if you want a better experience. Lastly, the taste is completely uniform, likely because mine had barely any cream, and not to mention, the sprinkles and coated shell really added nothing to the entire experience!

Mini Muffin (Vanilla)
You’re typical vanilla snack cake. Reasonably moist, a little dense but does break apart a bit, and feels cheap, and overall, nothing to write home about in terms of mouthfeel or a snack muffin in general. The taste is also typical, with a mildly buttery flavor and a sweet vanilla note. Nothing crazy, more or less your typical vanilla muffin. I’d much prefer the more moist and dense Little Bites!

Mini Muffin (Coconut)
This has several coconut flakes baked into the top. These coconut flakes surprisingly add a small, soft-crunchy element to the soft muffin, despite the muffin seeming to have only a few. In addition, they also give it an equal amount of coconut flavor alongside the buttery muffin taste. Wait, actually, is the entire muffin coconut-flavored? I think so! The coconut flavor pairs well with the vanilla muffin background, and I especially appreciate how smooth and not too artificial the actual coconut flavor is. Further, the sweetness brings it out perfectly without overwhelming you; notably, these are a tad less sweet than the Vanilla flavor. Overall, the flavors are balanced, and the muffin isn’t over-the-top sweet, definitely something to try if you enjoy coconut!

I don’t think the picture in the front did this justice. These appear much, much thicker when you unwrap them. The size of these is genuinely huge, with a mildly thin white chocolate shell that has solidified and appears to have oozed off the side. This shell encases two thick shortbread-like cookies and a helping of soft, gooey arequipe directly in the center. 

Biting in, it’s as expected–which is tasty! It’s soft, though solid, and does break apart slightly due to the nature of the shortbread and shell. However, the taste is where it shines. You absolutely notice the sweet white chocolate shell despite it not being ultra-thick, all combined with a very buttery shortbread cookie flavor, and on top of that, an essence of sweet, smooth arequipe. It’s all a wonderfully unique experience, especially because the white chocolate adds so much without overwhelming. Basically, all the flavors are balanced, providing a fairly sweet, buttery, smooth, and creamy experience!

These are small and all individually wrapped. Opening the packages up, they look like mini square cookies-and-cream chocolate bars. They present themselves as white chocolate with noticeable embedded darker pieces throughout. Also, definitely not as pale or white as the packaging shows!

In terms of mouthfeel, it’s a cookies-and-cream bar with a very mild crunch. I’d say it’s about 80 percent a creamy, smooth candy bar and 20 percent lightly crunchy. This crunch comes from the fairly large cookie pieces, generously spread throughout. In terms of taste, it’s comparable to most other cookies-and-cream bars. Fairly sweet yet not overwhelming, with a smooth, creamy white chocolate and an essence of cookie.

Red cream soda, that’s what this soda is! It’s exceptionally creamy and smooth, with a sugary sweet, almost lightly fruity taste. At the same time, I also frequently feel it has a sharp, fruity-bubbly taste, especially when it’s fresh. Together, it makes for a refreshing experience! One of the best sodas I’ve had, resembling most other red cream sodas.

These resemble puffed cereals (often called filled puffed or pillow cereal). Lightly crunchy and airy, yet with a thick enough outer shell and a small, soft inside. It’s a pleasantly addictive combination that provides a good mouthfeel, especially when dry, because you can really feel the softer center and the overall nuance.

The taste is fairly sweet and sugary, and notably, it contains no corn or cereal flavors. If you blind folded me, I wouldn’t have guessed dulce de leche exactly. Maybe some type of caramel? Or a very sweet, creamy sugar? I’m not sure. It’s mostly just sugary sweet, though, not a plain sugar either, like other cereals, and it’s also especially sweeter than most others, too. Perhaps it’s that dulce de leche background really driving it forward and making it more distinct than your average sugar-flavored cereal.

In milk, it remains mostly crunchy and doesn’t get soggy for some time. The flavor also loses a touch of sweetness, but still remains mostly the same. In my opinion, I like these better dry — really makes for a good snack. If anything, I wish there were a bolder dulce de leche flavor, but I’m still satisfied given how sweet it is!

You’re first hit with a creamy, fairly sweet strawberry, but as you pay attention, you notice a vanilla flavor alongside it. What results is, as I said, a very creamy, sugary-tasting strawberry. It kind of reminds me of a strawberry milkshake with extra sugar and a slightly more candy-like flavor. At the same time, it does not taste fake or weirdly artificial either. Interestingly, it yields a stronger, slightly fruity-sour, more authentic strawberry note now and then — I am not sure why — you know, when you hit a large chocolate chip in a cookie and get that super chocolately note? Like that.

Lastly, the golden Oreo cookie part wraps it all up nicely in a lighter, complementary vanilla and biscuity flavor. In milk, the overall flavor remains mostly the same while becoming even creamier!

Review

A regular milk chocolate ice cream. That’s pretty much it! It doesn’t taste or feel too cheap or premium; it’s mainly just average. However, weirdly, after opening and refreezing it, the ice cream turned extremely hard. So hard, in fact, it was impossible to cut through with a spoon! This is in contrast to many American-based ice creams, which tend to turn more icy yet remain spoonable with some effort.

Anyway, along with its milk chocolate flavor profile, there is a light peanut addition from the generously added, lightly crunchy peanut pieces. It’s not super crunchy by any means, as if the peanuts got a little soggy from the ice cream, nor is the peanut flavor all that strong in the first place.

Overall, as a peanut lover, I’m disappointed. The flavors here are too mild, and the ice cream’s composition is nothing to write home about. Honestly, it’s just a bit boring and would benefit from toppings or other mix-ins, as well as a bit more sweetness.

As a side note, Popsy is much better.

Biting in, I notice an immediate, smooth, and creamy vanilla. But it’s not a typical punchy vanilla flavor; it’s creamier, milkier. It remains pretty sweet, sweeter than your average filled wafer treat. The texture of the wafer is also unique, with tons of embedded sugar crystals throughout, which add nuance to the soft-crunchy wafer shell. Weirdly, though, the wafer itself has a slight “is this old?” texture, almost as if it’s a tad too soft, giving a slightly stale mouthfeel. Nonetheless, it’s mostly ignorable, and the wafer treat as a whole remains quite tasty and a cut above your average filled wafer treat.

A sweet, soft, and creamy milk chocolate shell houses a good amount of green, lightly crunchy filling that’s just a bit softer than the shell itself. For the most part, it’s a chocolate taste with just a slight hint of nuttiness. Honestly, if you blindfolded me, I’d have guessed this is a regular, super-sweet milk chocolate truffle with a few specs of crunch here and there. Honestly, nothing really Dubai here.

It looks like a regular milk chocolate bar, but when you turn it over, it reveals a layer of embedded mini green pistachios and shredded kadayif. Then, when you break the squares apart, a solid green filling appears.

Biting in, this is perhaps one of the softest and creamiest chocolates I’ve had. It practically melts in your mouth before it even reaches it, wow! It’s so soft and has a slight, interesting chew. Besides that, the decent amount of inside green filling is just slightly softer than the chocolate shell itself, so for the most part, it’s quite uniform. However, the bottom part with the pistachios and shredded kadify provides a tiny crunch. Frankly, though, there isn’t much there–it just seems these mixins are part of the bottom, nowhere else, so don’t expect much. Ultimately, the star of the show is the texture and, of course, the taste.

In terms of flavor, it’s a very sweet, creamy milk chocolate with a fairly noticeable pistachio note. Dubai? I’m not sure; to me, it falls more into a regular pistachio-chocolate vibe. Either way, it’s a great combination, with the chocolate being at the forefront of the flavor profile and the nuttiness backing it up perfectly.

Carbonated water at its finest! They’re flavorful and sweeter than your typical, regularly spiced carbonated beverage. Basically, they aren’t bland. In addition to their bolder, sweeter flavors, the brand offers several unique flavors, from apple to lemonade. Each is great, and personally, I found the apple flavor to be very unique — it tastes like slightly watered-down carbonated apple juice. Another favorite of mine is the lemonade (limonata) for its authentic, sweet flavor, without being punchy or too sour. Overall, great refreshing and unique drinks!

Review

These have a reasonably thick milk chocolate shell, and inside is a completely filled cavity of slightly softer, solidified white chocolate cream with large, dark, crunchy bits. Basically, in a sense, its appearance resembles a white chocolate filling encased in a milk chocolate shell. I also really enjoy that the entire inside is completely filled with this white chocolate instead of the usual “it’s missing a lot of the filling!”

When biting in, I did notice an additional texture: wafer. Indeed, between the milk chocolate center in a chocolate shell, there’s a very thin wafer-like crust. That aside, the overall mouthfeel is like a truffle, with a light wafer crunch from the wafer part and a touch from the chocolate bits on the inside. The milk chocolate shell and the white cream have a similar soft texture.

Then, in terms of taste, you get that sweet, creamy Milka chocolate flavor, as well as a very creamy, not overly punchy, but still moderately sweet combination of white chocolate and a slight cookie. For the most part, I don’t think I got an explicit Oreo taste; it was more like a very creamy mix of white and milk chocolate. Definitely don’t expect that dark chocolate Oreo flavor from its cookie part, or that super-sweet artificial Oreo cream.

Overall, while this didn’t necessarily remind me of Oreo, the nuance of the flavors and textures was great! They are just so satisfying to eat–thick, soft, and flavorful! These also do resemble Oreo snowballs/eggs, but this Milka version has a softer chocolate and, inside, is a smidge more creamy, with a tiny accompanying crunch.

According to the images on each treat, there are orange, strawberry, and banana-strawberry-orange flavors. I also like the fact that each one has a different slogan on it; for example, one says ‘miss you’ with a frowny face, another says ‘kisses’ with a happy heart eyes face, and another says ‘estoy contigo’ with a happy face.

The texture reminds me of typical chewy, cheap, fruity candies. My favorite of the bunch was the banana mixed combination, which was sweeter than the others and delivered a sugary, banana-forward taste with a light background of strawberry and orange, making it tropical. My next favorite came the orange — moderately sweet, slightly artificial, but still tasty—then followed by the strawberry flavor, which sported a dull, cheap-tasting strawberry. It’s like a lot of effort went into the banana flavor compared to the other two, and I was especially disappointed with the strawberry flavor—it tasted super artificial.

Overall, these aren’t bad; they’re a moderate chewy and a little hard, with a waxy-ish feel, but they’re still enjoyable. For cheap candy, they’re pretty good.

Review

These look identical to your typical chocolate cakes from Little Debbie and other brands. However, upon opening, I noticed a glitter appearance at the top. Seen from different angles, it reflects quite a bit, making for a cool spectacle. Is it sugar? I don’t know, but who cares, it’s different to say the least!

That aside, these do taste and feel just like those other brands. The taste is moderately sweet, creamy, rich, darker chocolate. Frankly, I just love these cakes; they’re all exceptionally moist, reasonably thick, and provide a great mouthfeel from the slightly hardened chocolate shell at the top to the very pillowy, creamy inside. Overall, these are really good semi-dark chocolate cakes that offer a rich, creamy experience, especially if you like sweets.

Review

These look like Galaxy Brownies, but in the shape of round marshmallow balls. They are very colorful, with all the sprinkles on the outside, and when you break them apart, it’s a thick marshmallow with a tiny dollop of soft milk chocolate in the center. But really, that center is so small I didn’t even notice it throughout the entire experience. What I did notice was the other parts of the composition.

These are thick marshmallows with a lightly chewy mouthfeel, a light crunch from the shell that breaks apart as you bite in, and a few crunchy, colorful pieces on the outside. The taste is a pretty sweet, milk-chocolate-forward flavor with an additional marshmallow. Essentially, these are chocolate-covered marshmallows that falsely advertise themselves as containing some chocolate-volcano-like experience–nothing drips out when you bite in here!

Mani
This bar is less thick than the Jumbo Flow bars. This is also made up of little chocolate squares that you can break apart. It has fairly large peanut pieces embedded in chocolate. Despite these large peanut pieces, they do run on the softer side, but still provide a nice crunch when you bite through. The taste of this is a regular milk chocolate bar; it doesn’t taste cheap or premium, and it sort of resembles a Hershey’s, but perhaps slightly less sweet. The accompanying peanut taste is also fairly light and isn’t explicit or overly punchy; it tastes like a natural peanut, more or less. A good combination overall, but nothing really to write home about; pretty typical chocolate bar.

Flow White Chocolate
This is a fairly chunky white chocolate-looking bar. When you bite through it, there is thick, gooey caramel that stretches like a cheese pull. Inside this caramel layer are little bits of peanut, then at the bottom of it all, a layer of white nougat, all encased in a white chocolate shell.

First off, I expected the white chocolate to be a little more pronounced; it’s still clearly there and is quite pleasant. Alongside this are an equal light caramel, nougat, and peanut. All the flavors are well balanced, and none overpowers the others. In a way, this reminds me of a milder white chocolate version of a Snickers, but less sweet and less thick, and this is a little softer overall. This still has a light chew, and I also appreciate how creamy and soft it is to bite through. Overall, it’s a very nuanced bar with three distinct yet mildly pleasant flavors that work well together. 

Flow Chocolate
Interestingly, the caramel top layer of this one is a bit darker than the Flow White Chocolate flavor. Everything else is more or less the same, however. And in terms of taste, it’s just like the white chocolate version, but with a mild, creamy milk chocolate instead.

Overall, the Flow bars remind me of a thick marshmallow. The small bits of peanuts add a little crunch, though not super crunchy, which I appreciate, and the nougat and caramel layers are moderately thick and offer a light chewiness. Overall, the bar isn’t as thick, chewy, or hard as a Snickers. It’s like putting together a Snickers and a marshmallow — the flavors are a little more diluted, and the overall texture is softer.

Review

Overall, these cookies look like your typical corner store cookies. The fillings on the inside are a little thin, though I really enjoy that a bit of the filling seems to come out from the four dots in the center of each cookie, as shown on the package. Aside from that, there isn’t much to write home about.

Flavor-wise, these are buttery, moderately sweet cookies, and overall, they don’t taste or feel super cheap like some other cookies nor premium like upper brands. The mouthfeel is just fine; nothing is too hard or off-putting, and the cream inside provides a very subtle, light amount of softness. For the most part, the cookie part dominates the mouthfeel. Overall, for the price, these are good cookies, and I especially appreciate how buttery they taste. Definitely a step above cheapo cookies.

Fresa: The lightest flavor of the bunch. It’s a very mild strawberry, but for the most part, all you get is the buttery cookie flavor. It’s not bad, I just wish the strawberry were stronger. 

Vanilla: This comes across as a little sweeter than strawberry and about the same level as the Limon-Lemon flavor. I really appreciate the traditional sugary, creamy vanilla flavor alongside the buttery cookie. That aside, like tradition, there’s nothing crazy about this cookie. The flavors just work and remind me of a Golden Oreo.

Limon-Lemon: This is about the same sweetness as the vanilla and a little sweeter than a strawberry. It’s a very refreshing, sweet, sugary lemon-like flavor. It’s not at all punchy or anything like that; it simply falls on the sweeter side and works well with the buttery cookie part. I think this might be the favorite of the bunch!

Chocolate: Moderately sweet with a cocoa milk chocolate flavor from the cookie part and a light milky creaminess from the filling. It really reminds me of a hot chocolate in cookie form! Definitely my second favorite out of the four.

Review

My first question is, how do these compare to Nutella?

Well, the hazelnut portion is definitely not as sweet, though it is a reasonably typical hazelnut-chocolate flavor; satisfying enough. Nothing artificial or weird, which was a surprise because cheaper hazelnut chocolates sometimes come across as fake or off. The white part is sweeter, with a very creamy, sugary, milky flavor — I love this portion even more!

Together, both are a very addictive combination. Both are very soft and have a solidified creamy texture. My only complaint? You need to buy a separate pack of cookies, biscuits, or something crunchy to pair with it! Sure, I can eat these with the little accompanying spoons, but some crunch would pair so well with them!

Review

This Gol treats bar offers an interesting soft rice-like texture and mouthfeel. It’s light, almost airy, and also lightly chewy and easy to bite through. There isn’t much of a crunch, necessarily. It’s like a slightly airier, softer Rice Krispies treat. It has a light, soft chocolate coating and a smidge of caramel swirl on the inside amongst the rice filling.

The flavor is where it shines, though: a primary note of sweet milk chocolate (despite being mostly rice-based), a very light caramel, and an even lighter rice flavor. Overall, it’s a very sweet chocolate-tasting bar — I really think they mixed in a ton of sugar into the rice to bring out the sweetness and flavors. If you look at it, you would have guessed it was going to taste almost entirely of rice.

Review

An airy, smooth, solid crunch combined with a mildly spicy and salty bacon-like flavor. Indeed, something like a puffed bacon strip–they even kind of look like bacon pieces based on the color. I love the texture — it’s not hard or unpleasant — and the flavor is bold and pronounced, not overly bacony, and definitely not for those prone to even light levels of spiciness.

I’m not sure if I got bad luck, but these felt stale. They deflate quickly when you bite into their chewy, stale-like texture, though the flavor doesn’t taste necessarily terrible. It’s a very light cheese-and-corn flavor, similar to Cheetos or cheese puffs, but substantially less cheesy and less flavorful. In terms of looks, they resemble cheese puffs.

Review

First off, I love the box’s design— Patrick is a favorite of mine! The box is cute and quite small, perhaps one of the smallest cereal boxes I’ve seen.

Eaten dry, they almost taste like your typical sugar-based corn cereal, but with slight differences. It’s sweeter, with more sugar, which makes the cereal overall more flavorful. There is clearly some fruity strawberry taste, but for the most part, it still leans on a sugary sweet flavor. Again, sweeter than your regular sweetened corn cereal and notably, no corn or corn cereal flavor!

Texture-wise, it’s close to a cheap corn cereal, but these feel a little harder and a smidge rougher while still retaining that cheaper mouthfeel — not the best experience, but not intolerable. In milk, the flavor and texture remain about the same. The cereal milk itself doesn’t get any more flavorful either.

First, the Alpina Alpin chocolate drink that came with it was good. It’s a moderately sweet, very regular-tasting milk chocolate. Perhaps one of the most generic ones you’ll ever taste, as if was mass produced for consumption. I really like it for some reason; the chocolate is just really good and milky. In a way, I feel like it has a hint of malt alongside the chocolate milk flavor.

This cereal is a little less sweet than the Patrick version but has a mildly more pronounced actual flavor: mostly sugar with a pineapple-ish taste. It’s not at all punchy, sour, or even tropical; it’s simply a sugary taste first followed by a mild, candy-like pineapple. I also get a smidge of vanilla, which adds a touch of creaminess. Notably, no corn or generic cereal taste.

In terms of texture, it’s about identical to the Patrick one: a little harder and slightly crunchier than standard corn cereals. On the other hand, no artificial flavors and it’s also sweeter than those generic ones.

In milk, it stays crunchy and retains its flavor. Cereal milk is plain.

Without milk, the texture is mostly the shell: light and pleasantly crunchy, not at all hard or anything unpleasant. Then you can kind of feel that much softer center as you chew through it, albeit, it could use more of it.

These taste very close to regular, chocolate Pinguinos, albeit with a slightly more vanilla, white-chocolate-like taste. With that, maybe a smidge more creamy, if at all. That’s really it. It’s not as bold or pronounced as the deeper chocolate Pinguinos, but it’s very close, offering only a hint of vanilla in return.

With that, it’s not necessarily cookies and cream, unless you believe cookies-and-cream flavors should be more chocolate-forward rather than the usual white-chocolate, creamy part of the flavor profile. Other than that, these Pinguinos have the same moist, dense texture and, overall, present a similar experience to their chocolate cousins.

Exactly as shown on the package: it’s a log! The center is a chocolate wafer that houses a thick white chocolate filling, all wrapped in a thick white chocolate shell with bits of chocolate cookie. Biting in yields exactly that, a light overall crunch, but it’s mostly creamy, soft, smooth, and quite thick!

The taste is just like a Hershey’s Cookies ‘n’ Cream bar. It’s sweet, sporting mostly a white chocolate with a chocolate-cookie-like background, just like the candy bar! The only part that differs is the texture, which is just slightly crunchier and more round. Other than that, just expect a super sweet, mostly white-chocolate-tasting treat with a hint of darker cookie-chocolate flavor.

These are all individually wrapped in these easy-to-open, blue plastic erappers. Each contains nearly bite-sized wafers. The chocolate wafers are coated in a thin layer of white chocolate, and the wafers themselves contain thin strips of white chocolate. For the most part, it’s a lightly crunchy wafer with a slight addition of smooth softness from the thin coating. Nothing extraordinary here.

The taste is a mix of moderately sweet white chocolate and semi-dark chocolate cookies. For a wafer, it’s sweeter than average, which helps bring out the creamy white chocolate, equally balanced by the chocolate. Is it cookies and cream? I believe so!

You can taste and feel the wafer cookies, all together with the smooth, milky white chocolate — this is likely as close to cookies and cream as you can get in wafer form. Overall, it doesn’t taste cheap nor premium, perhaps slightly above average in terms of quality.

Review

The Fresa flavor is so flavorful! Biting in, you’re met with a sugary sweet strawberry and a smidge of smooth, light citrus that appears to round it out. It’s not punchy and tastes creamier, with a little more sweetness than most other strawberry gums. It doesn’t come across as weirdly artificial or “this was made for kids” type of gum either. Another bonus is that the center is softer than the shell, which gives you an initial contrast of textures when you begin chewing. Most notably, it lasts quite some time and has quickly become one of my favorite gums!

Its minty friend isn’t as much of a show off. In fact, it’s pretty standard, though I didn’t find it as punchy or harsh as other similar brands. To me, this has a smoother, toothpaste-like taste rather than “it’s going to freshen your mouth with super harsh chemicals.” Not bad, and it’s quite refreshing and pleasant overall.

Lastly, the Trident X For Gamers Citrus Mix is one of the thickest and chunkiest gums I’ve ever come across. They’re quite large and are in the shape of a circle square. They’re gritty and green on the outside with red specks. Biting in yields a slightly softer center and a sweet, fairly punchy citrus flavor. It’s not super overwhelming by any means, though it’s appreciable and has a good amount of sweetness without coming across as candy-like or too artificial. It’s actually a bit refreshing, yet still sweet, ever so slightly sour, and tasty. The initial flavor lasts a few minutes and fades over time, leaving you with something decent to chew on for a while.

A very thin coating of chocolate encases a reasonably moist, mostly regular piece of yellow cake. The taste is pretty generic: buttery, vanilla-ish, with a hint of chocolate. The vanilla buttery cake is the primary flavor here. Lastly, the composition is a pretty standard cake and reminds me of baking a yellow cake and compressing it a little more, essentially making it more dense, and then coating it quickly in light milk chocolate.

They do crumble slightly when biting in, so I suggest eating them with a plate. Anyway, these cakes are good, and while they taste cheap, they’re addictive.

Review

This is more or less your standard liquidized strawberry yogurt. It’s reasonably thick and homogeneously smooth. Also note that this package is difficult to open without it spilling out instantly! Really, they packed this tightly!

That aside, it’s not super-sweet like some kids’ strawberry yogurt, nor is it plain like an “adult” one; it’s somewhere in between. With that, it’s reasonably creamy and strawberry-flavored, and this strawberry is good enough, leaning more toward a sugary taste than anything truly authentic. Any sweeter, and it might just become a kids’ yogurt. Overall, it’s not crazy different or unique, and it’s not something to really seek out to buy.

The best popping candy I’ve ever had! It comes in a white powder with a few small pink sugar-like crystals mixed in, which you throw into your mouth. It’s a lot different from the sugar-like crystals typical of popping candy. It’s so smooth and dissolves instantly in your mouth! Interestingly, it’s not dry or cough-inducing for a powder, and it’s not sticky or anything like that.

Taste-wise, wow, it’s so incredibly milky. The creamy milk taste, combined with a moderate amount of sugar, makes for a tasty, smooth result. It doesn’t come across as too sweet, artificial, or too candy-like–it’s much more enjoyable than that. I actually thought it tasted a lot like arequipe in a powder form.

A medium-sized dark chocolate ball encases a semi-solid filling with a mouthfeel that combines fruit and chocolate. Essentially, it has a few light, chewy crunches while remaining soft. It reminds me of a ground-up date or orange with, well, chocolate, at least texture-wise.

In terms of taste, it’s fairly dark and mildly sweet with an equally deep, complementary citrus taste. None of it comes across as too bitter; it’s like the dark chocolate and citrus tones complement each other and balance out. For a darker chocolate candy, it’s reasonably sweet, just don’t expect any sharp bitterness or your typical harsh dark chocolate flavor. Overall, it’s such an interesting candy, both in terms of mouthfeel and flavor, you kind of have to eat it to really experience it.
