I wasn’t exactly super excited for this week although most of the cookies looked OK and interestingly, the looks matched the tasted. Frankly, there were no standouts here. I feel each cookie could have been slightly nudged in different directions to improve them.
🍇 BLUEBERRY CRUMB CAKE
Score: 6 / 10
Mildly sweet, filled with blueberries and had a slight overall lemon taste. Texture was interesting, slightly crunchy on the outside and crumby in the middle. Wish it was a tad sweeter.
🍫 DARK DREAM
Score: 6 / 10
It’s a fairly chocolate-chocolate cookie. Expected it to be a bit sweeter or have a frosting to sweeten it up. It’s honestly kind of boring and a pretty typical chocolate based cookie.
🧑🍳 COOKIE DOUGH
Score: 7 / 10
This thick cookie mostly tastes like a chocolate chip cookie without the chips. Frosting is thick and almost cookie-dough-like, also giving it a noticable cookie dough flavor.
🥜 ULTIMATE PEANUT BUTTER
Score: 3 / 10
No different than scooping plain peanut butter out of a jar and eating it. The flavor is literally just plain peanut butter, and the texture is pretty standard for a Crumbl Cookie. This needed seasonings like salt and sugar to be good. (Note: Not shown in pic. View my previous review here.)
