Fall Harvest Pumpkin Cheesecake Sandwich Cookies

Score: 5.25 / 10

Review

Okay, so this texture is pretty rough and on the harder side; it doesn’t make for a great mouth feel whatsoever. I’m genuinely disappointed! Honestly, it feels like a crunchy cookie that went stale. It’s also dry, which doesn’t help, making the cookie somewhat crumbly.

At the very least, the flavor is about right and actually very accurate. It’s creamy, notably buttery, and has a reasonably sweet pumpkin taste. Overall, it does authentically taste like a pumpkin cheesecake–you have the buttery crust, the creamy cream cheese, and some sweetened pumpkin. Unfortunately, the texture brings it down.

While I can’t find an exact release date, reviews on the Target product page date back to around 2019. Found early September 2025.

Halloween Witches Hat Peanut Butter Filled Mini Waffle Cones

Score: 7.25 / 10

Review

These remind me so much of KitKats, from the crunchy airy wafer to the dominant chocolate flavor itself. Except these also have a very light peanut too, in addition to it all.

I’ve never seen fully covered waffle cones before, and interestingly, they are a lot softer overall, as if the soft outside chocolate shell added some moisture. They still have a crunch, but it’s more airy and wafer-like. The inside is also very soft, with an appreciable white cream that helps contrast the crunchiness. Is this where the mild peanut taste comes from?

Its flavor is moderately sweet with a darkish, non-bitter chocolate flavor and a super light background of peanut. Without reading the package, I’d have guessed a sweet, mostly chocolately waffle cone.

Overall, the flavors and composition remind me so much of KitKats. They’re a pleasant treat with no over-the-top flavors while also having a good amount of sugary sweetness to enjoy.

Release Date

Released late August / early September. Found early September 2025.

Fall Harvest Pumpkin Spice Crème Sandwich Cookies

Score: 7 / 10

Review

These are extremely well decorated and defined–the pumpkin is etched in perfectly and deeply!

Biting into the cookie, it nearly completely falls apart. It has almost no structural integrity. The cookie itself is on the dryer side, though still pleasant, and the creme is also a little dry. It’s not a terrible mouthfeel overall, but it is annoying that they fall apart so easily.

The flavor is very buttery pumpkin with not much spice. It’s there, but compared to other pumpkin spice treats, it doesn’t have that kick. This, to me, is fine; I don’t mind something more buttery and sweeter overall. Speaking of sweetness–it’s definitely pretty high up there, especially for a sandwich cookie.

Expect a crunchy, sweet pumpkin cookie that breaks apart when you bite into it.

Fall Harvest Pumpkin Spice Dipped Sandwich Cookies

Score: 8.25 / 10

Review

This has pumpkin spice, but it’s not spicy like most pumpkin spice-flavored treats. This absolutely throws itself towards a super sweet and creamy pumpkin, making it both pleasant to eat–well, specifically for those with a sweet tooth, otherwise, you’ll hate these! Really, these cookies are perhaps some of the sweetest sandwich cookies I’ve ever had! Everything, from the outside to the in, is stupidly sugary! I also especially love how creamy it is, too, toning down anything left of the punchiness from the pumpkin spice.

Its composition is also surprisingly amazing. It has a thick, fairly soft layer of cream on the outside with little orange crunchy sprinkles, then when you bite in, you’re met with a semi-crunchy, filled sandwich cookie containing a super duper sweet vanilla cream. None of the cookies is rough or hard whatsoever, which is often a problem with sandwich cookies.

If you want a creamy, ultra-sweet, semi-crunchy cookie, this is it!

Bakery S’mores Frosted Sugar Cookies

Score: 6 / 10

Review

What is this… what’s going on here? The taste—what? What did they do?! It’s difficult to describe, but the cookie base and the frosting are… not great? Weird? I think?

First, the cookie itself. How do I describe it… It’s a mix of semi-dark chocolate and German chocolate with an odd, almost sour-like aftertaste. It’s like they added too much baking soda or something. Either way, it’s not that tasty. And then further, it’s pretty dry, almost crumbly, and feels like it’s made of little bits of tiny cookie pieces stuck together.

The frosting, if you can call it that, doesn’t make any more sense either. It’s clearly a sweet vanilla, not to mention very thin and airy—it basically feels very lackluster and cheap, and doesn’t at all help the cookie. It feels like two different things competing with one another (the cookie and frosting), and in the end, not only is it clearly not a s’mores cookie, it frankly doesn’t have an identity at all. Really, just what are these cookies?!

The only real reason why these cookies aren’t a complete dud is that, for the most part, they’re fairly sweet. At the same time, the frosting and cookie do have contrasting textures, which brings it up a bit. Sure, the cookie part isn’t great, but it is edible, and with that sweet frosting, it comes out okay (yes, I am a sucker for sweet things).

And just one last note—they may look like Lofthouse cookies, but trust me, they’re completely different!

S’mores Soft Baked Cookies

Score: 6 / 10

Review

90% graham tasting at minimum. The few embedded chocolate and white chips are hardly even noticeable. The entire cookie tastes like genuine graham crackers and not much else.

The texture is also interesting. It’s dry and feels like a combination of an oat cookie mixed with a chocolate chip. What makes up for it is how soft and reasonably thick they are, providing a pleasant bite when eating them. Still, I need something to drink after!

So, if you want s’mores, this just isn’t it. It’s more or less a dry oat and chocolate chip cookie mixed together, while throwing in a graham cracker taste.

While I can’t find a release date, I noticed some reviews date back to as early as July 2022. Found August 2025.

Bakery S’mores Cookies

Score: 7.5 / 10

Review

Holy moly, in addition to being thick and pretty darn moist, these are by far the softest cookies I’ve ever had. Really, I’m not kidding—when I held one up, there was a small flop to it! Gosh, the mouthfeel and texture of these are just wonderful! Oh yeah, and those big marshmallows stuck in these? They add even more of a hit to the chewiness and a gooey “pull” when you bite in—so good! Though… the chocolate chips didn’t seem to do much, as unfortunately, they were quite soft like the cookie itself!

Okay, so the texture of these is amazing, but what about the flavor? It’s mostly your standard chocolate chip cookie, with the same level of sweetness and taste; nothing stands out here. The marshmallows and chocolate chips, at least to me, didn’t really add anything in this department. If I had to guess, it’s perhaps 95% regular chocolate chip cookie tasting with an essence of marshmallow?

Simply put, the phenomenal texture of these dragged them to a higher score than I’d normally give them.

Dark Chocolate Filled Waffle Cones

Score: 7 / 10

Review

This dark chocolate is on the more bland side. It’s there, but not nearly as sweet or bold as it ought to be. Not dark enough, and not sweet enough. It’s all kind of boring. The wafer is also plain and dry, only offering a bit of crunch to contrast the thick chocolate filling. Notably, it’s not the same as the waffle cones you normally find in competing products.

Needless to say, these aren’t bad. It’s just that they’re too inoffensive and trying to appease everyone by not being too standout. I’ve had much better waffle-based cones.

Cinnamon & Sugar White Fudge Covered Mini Grahams

Score: 7.75 / 10

Review

Like a premium graham cracker covered with a generous and thick creamy and sweet white chocolate fudge. On top of that, an equally sweet and tasty cinnamon litters the outside, providing a wonderful and yummy combination.

So, the flavor is pretty darn good, and the texture is the same. The light crunch you get after biting through that soft and smooth fudge is a great mouthful and experience.

Milk Chocolate Mini Vanilla Creme Sandwich Cookies

Score: 7.75 / 10

Review

Basically, these are mini Oreos covered with a chocolate shell and a generous amount of crunchy sprinkles. Need I say more? … I’m going to anyway!

These are tasty. Not only do you get a crunchily sweet cookie, it’s covered with a smooth and creamy milk chocolate and sprinkles—and those sprinkles, oh boy! They really add so much to the experience, specifically the texture. There are so many, I love it! Honestly, without them, it’s still a good cookie, but it really does elevate it a full degree!

So, basically, overall, it’s a moderately sweet, delightfully chocolate-chocolate cookie with amazing sprinkles. Its mouthfeel—and biting through—is wonderful. First, you’re greeted with the crunchy sprinkles, then a delightful chocolate shell, and then the inner dark chocolate cookie. It’s a great combination!

Mini White Fudge Dipped Sandwich Cookies

Score: 8 / 10

Review

A very, very sweet vanilla cookie. It reminds me of an already sweet, crunchy vanilla sandwich cookie that’s then dipped in an overly sugary vanilla dip. The shell is smooth, soft, and thick, and has little crunchy confetti pieces, which are appreciated. All together, it gives vanilla frosting vibes, reminding me of a vanilla cookie trying to fulfill a birthday cake flavor.

Strawberry Mini Waffle Cones

Score: 7.25 / 10

Review

Whoa, opening these up reveals an overpowering sweet strawberry candy-like smell. However, the flavor is much milder. The inside is filled with a light, creamy-tasting, sugary strawberry flavor. It’s not exactly authentic strawberry tasting, but it’s still tasty enough.

If anything, these need a lot more sweetness. That aside, the shell is crunchy and doesn’t provide much else, and the filling itself is a hardened soft solid of sorts: easy to bite through and fulfilling.

S’mores Mini Waffle Cones

Score: 7.25 / 10

Review

The smell and taste remind me of a toned-down s’more. There’s clearly an authentic, buttery graham cracker taste from the crunchy shell; however, the inside soft-solid chocolate and marshmallow filling is too light. I can taste it, but the graham cracker overpowers both of them. It’s like it’s watered down, unfortunately.

Not too bad overall, just too mild, especially for a s’more, where the chocolate and marshmallow are supposed to be bold and prominently centered. Other than that, the texture is okay, providing a decent crunch from the shell and a soft-solid center.

Released April 2024. Found June 2025.

Peanut Butter & Jelly (PB & J) Mini Waffle Cones

Score: 7 / 10

Review

The top part is made of the “peanut butter,” while the bottom is “jelly.” I put them in quotation marks because they’re… odd, to say the least.

First off, the “peanut butter.” The peanut butter is a soft-solid cream and has a light peanut butter-like taste. It’s hard to describe; it’s not bad, and it isn’t precisely peanut butter, and it’s light enough to make you question what you’re eating. For the most part, it consists mostly of a mild, sugary-tasting substance.

The jelly is just… what? It appears as a thick, syrupy goo, which is what most of the cone consists of. Despite being advertised as strawberry, it’s an apricot-looking jelly, and additionally, I wouldn’t say it’s strawberry either. It’s similar to strawberry, but there’s something else, I think. Like the peanut butter, the flavor is mostly sugary sweet, and its actual advertised flavor is faint and makes you raise an eyebrow.

Overall, these aren’t a bad combo; it’s just the fact that they’re not PB & J flavored. I expected punchier flavors, like a real peanut butter and jelly, but this is mostly a decently sweet, sugary-tasting concoction of two substances. I know, it sounds bad, but these cones really aren’t so, still!
