Summary
Chocolate Crumb Cake is a must have. Twix Cookie is a miss.
Review
It seems everyone was complaining about how this week’s Crumbl Cookies were uninteresting, but to me, these were some of the more unique ones I’ve seen in some time. My two favorites were the Chocolate Raspberry Truffle and Chocolate Crumb Cake while my least favorite, unfortunately, was the Twix based one. Ranked in the middle was the Gingerbread Cake cookie. If I had to get any of these again, the Chocolate Crumb was definitely something I’d go out and buy, it was just so good and a solid overall cookie anyone would love.

Reminds me of those fruity dark chocolate candy bars you find in stores. Moderately sweet, dark, with a bold raspberry taste. I especially like how soft and moist the inside and frosting is, it all comes together nicely with an exceptionally good texture.

If you like chocolate chip cookies, this is a must try. Overall, it tastes a lot like an excellent chocolate chip cookie with a hint of cinnamon. This cinnamon elevated the flavor so much as it adds more complexity and brings out the chocolate even more! The amount of frosting on top is also the perfect amount, not overbearing or too sweet. Cookie texture is soft, chewy, and slightly underdone.
🟠 GINGERBREAD CAKE

An almost crumbly, slightly dry gingerbread cookie with a lightly sweet frosting. It reminds me of the many gingery Christmas cookies you find around. The ginger spice is definitely there, though, I wish the frosting was a tad sweeter to balance it out.

I love Twix, this cookie though? Not so much. As advertised, this is definitely a shortbread based cookie as it’s buttery as well as a bit dry and crumbly. Unfortunately, I couldn’t taste any Twix inside or from the top, and The thin layer of caramel topping is barely noticable. Annoyingly, when the caramel starts to cool and harden, the cookie becomes hard to eat. Perhaps a less thick topping is needed as well as more caramel and Twix in the cookie itself to really give it flavor.
