This review covers Aldi Cannoli Dips: Snickerdoodle, Salted Caramel, and Chocolate Chip, along with the Aldi Turtle and Salted Caramel Cheesecake Dessert Dips, including their release histories.
It’s unclear where and when the three cannoli dips stemmed from. However, it seems to have started with Peppermint and Chocolate Chip flavors in December 2023. There were also other flavors released during these times, including a Snickerdoodle in September 2024 and a Salted Caramel that doesn’t seem to have an exact release date.
I initially found three of these cannoli dips in January and February of 2025.
Then, in mid-August 2025, I noticed two new sweet dips labeled “Dessert Dip”: Turtle Cheesecake and Salted Caramel Cheesecake. Interestingly, these don’t advertise themselves as “Cannoli Dip” and instead use “Dessert Dip” on the cover. They appear to use many of the same ingredients as advertised on the package; however, I did notice discrepancies in their nutrition label (different calories, for example). Essentially, while these two kinds of dips are similar, they are, in fact, different.
These two dips appear new, with references dating to around mid-August 2025 (see here and here). I also found these in mid-August of 2025.
Following this trend, in mid-May 2026, Aldi released Mexican Wedding and Horchata dessert dips, where we finally spotted them in mid-June.
Aldi Park Street Mexican Wedding Cookie and Horchata Dessert Dip
Score: 7 / 10 (Mexican Wedding Cake), 5.75 / 10 (Horchata)

Like their other dessert dips, both of these have a noticeable cream cheese and sour cream-flavored base. That is where the commonalities end.
The Mexican Wedding Cookie lacks nuance. Instead, it hits you with the sugar, and that’s mostly it. It’s extremely sweet and creamy, with many bits of soft, lightly chewy, nutty bits. However, despite these mixins, their flavor is completely overwhelmed by the dip’s sugary sweetness. Similarly, while there is a noticeable cream cheese and sour cream flavor, it’s so sweet that those flavors fall into the background, too. I’m not sure what this would go well with, perhaps used as frosting for cookies and other pastries?
Horchata, to me, comes across as a bit odd (not the drink, this dip!). It’s more moderately sweet overall, definitely less than Mexican Wedding Cake, and instead sports additional cinnamon into its flavor profile. Essentially, what you get is more of a noticeable sour cream and cream cheese taste coupled with this cinnamon, and frankly, I’m not the biggest fan. It makes the cinnamon part taste off, a little bit, and almost artificial — it just doesn’t fit. Lastly, the supposed Graham cracker bits were mostly unnoticeable and didn’t add anything.
Aldi Park Street Limited Edition Snickerdoodle Cannoli Dip
Score: 8.5 / 10

Wow, so sweet, especially compared to regular cannoli filling you’d find in, well, a cannoli! It nearly tastes like frosting except in a cannoli texture; it tastes like they mixed a bunch of sugar, a light amount of cinnamon, a good amount of butter, and some traditional cannoli flavor. It goes great with most cookies or crackers; I personally love to use vanilla wafers. Honestly, it would even work on a cake!
Aldi Park Street Limited Edition Salted Caramel Cannoli Dip
Score: 8 / 10

Sweet–much sweeter than regular cannoli filling and almost as sweet as the Aldi Snickerdoodle Cannoli Dip version. In terms of flavor, it’s definitely a pretty accurate creamy salted caramel with a background of traditional cannoli filling. It’s great with crackers and biscuits, and I could see this being the filling of a cannoli, although you may need to use a lot less than what’s typically used because of how sweet it is!
Aldi Park Street Limited Edition Chocolate Chip Cannoli Dip
Score: 7.5 / 10

Unlike the Snickerdoodle flavor, these are the opposite. Instead of being super sweet, these are moderately sweet, with mostly unnoticeable mini chocolate chips that don’t appear to add much of anything to either the flavor or texture. Flavor-wise, it’s a regular ol’ creamy cannoli. So, basically, this just tastes like regular cannoli cream you’d find in the pastry with chocolate chips as decoration.
Aldi Turtle and Salted Caramel Cheesecake Dessert Dip
Score: 6 / 10

The Turtle flavor is a very creamy and thick dip that tastes like a mix of cream cheese with an especially noticeable sour cream flavor alongside a light chocolate. It comes across as something a bit above mildly sweet.
I don’t really get any pecan or nuttiness from it; really, it’s mostly a punchy sour cream and mild chocolate. Notably, the chocolate bits don’t add anything to the texture—this dip is uniformly a dip goop!
The Salted Caramel has the same texture but a different flavor. It’s especially salty with a mild caramel, that’s really it. To me, the caramel needs to be a lot stronger.
Overall, these aren’t as good as the cannoli dips. Are they cheesecake? Sort of, though, they definitely have a pronounced sour cream taste (with emphasis on sour), which I find most cheesecakes don’t have. At the very least, none of it comes across as artificial, and they’re all perfectly and pleasantly sweet enough.

I’m addicted to the fantastic dips. My problem, is they are no longer available at Aldi… as they are a “seasonal” producct. Since when is Chocolat Chip ANYTHING, a seasonal product… as are the other varieties.
So, I’m desperately searching for retailers who still carry these FANTASTIC DIPS. I live in Northern Illinois, but will most definitely order online to obtain my dips.. I will even order a box is necessary
Thank yu for y our help
I am also a super fan of these delightful dips. I could not believe that recently I could not find these dips at any of the Aldi stores in our area! I would also welcome any information as to where I might be able to purchase these dips. So if anyone knows where they might be found, I would be most grateful for that information!! Thanking all in advance!
Unfortunately, like many Aldi items, they frequently go in and out of stock. Maybe they’ll randomly show up again in the future… hopefully!
Can they keep far beyond expire date if unopened
Probably not too long as it’s dairy-based.
