Yield: Large Bowl of Fluff
Ingredients
- 24 Oreos
- 16 oz thawed Cool Whip
- 4 oz softened cream cheese
- 3 oz instant vanilla (or other flavor) pudding
- 1½ cup whole milk
Utensils
- Large serving bowl
- Plastic wrap or bowl lid
- Spatula or spoon
- Mixing utensil like a whisk or fork
Let’s Make It!
- Crush and break apart oreos (~3-5 pieces per oreo).
- Mix together cream cheese and milk until cream cheese is dissolved.
- Add vanilla pudding.
- Add oreos.
- Briefly mix, you are just coating the oreos with the mix.
- Add cool whip and gently fold in using spatula for about a minute. Do not overdo this or it could deflate, it doesn’t have to be perfectly combined!
- Serve as is or cover bowl and refrigerate overnight (optional but preferred). Store in fridge for up to several days.
Notes & Alternatives
- Using different varieties of cookies and instant pudding mixes can give you a lot of different fluffs!
- Adding a few tablespoons of cocoa powder will make a chocolate fluff.
- Additional mixins could be marshmallows, cookie dough, candies, etc.
History
- I came up with this idea after visiting a buffet in Providence, Rhode Island where one of their desserts was an cookie-like fluff. It took several visits to figure out exactly what it was!
