White Castle Cheeseburger Bites
Score: 7.5 / 10
More or less tastes like their sliders. Light, tasty seasoning combined with meat and cheese, giving it the flavor of a fairly well-seasoned burger. Essentially, it’s a good burger in bite-sized, more crunchy form.
Released mid September 2022. Found at Dollar Tree.
Flipz Churros Covered Pretzels
Score: 7.5 / 10
I’m not the biggest fan of covered pretzels but these are different. The thick coating is very sweet and tastes identical to a churro. Combined with the inner salty pretzel, it’s perfect! It sports both a creamy and crunchy texture.
Released some time in 2023 alongside Strawberry Shortcake. Found at Dollar Tree.
Chips Ahoy! Chewy Cookies With Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
Score: 7 / 10 (heated 7.5 / 10)
A moderate peanut butter tasting cookie, that’s it. It doesn’t really remind me of Reese’s much because the cookie isn’t nearly as sweet and the flavor isn’t all there. They have chopped up peanut butter cups embedded throughout but the flavor and sweetness is cut in half. If you like peanut butter, you’ll find these OK but lacking. I found heating them up makes them taste a little better and the texture gets even softer!
Not sure when this was released, although it’s been around for several years. Found at Stop & Shop.
Chips Ahoy! Chewy Confetti Cake Cookies (New Recipe)
Score: 7.5 / 10
Chewy, but interestingly, a tad dry compared to their other chewy cookies. I expected these to be super sweet but it feels just right. There’s a noticable birthday cake / confetti taste that goes beyond the normal vanilla flavor. Compared to the old recipe, these lack the chocolate chips and are replaced large white chips. Overall, these are good, but they need to be a bit more moist.
Originally released January 2023 as part of their 60th Anniversary, this new recipe seems to have come around September 2024. Found at Stop & Shop.
Friendly Farms Red Velvet Whipped Cream
Score: 7 / 10
Decently sweet with a red velvety taste. Nothing is overpowering, it’s creamy and enjoyable. Honestly, this whipped cream would work for almost anything as it’s unoffending and quite tasty! Exactly as advertised!
Not sure when this was released. Found early October at Aldi.
Benton’s Chocolate Haunted House Cookie Kit
Score: 9 / 10
This comes with so much! Super sweet gummies, a variety of cheap tasting hard candies including bat and bone shapes, and two tubes of Halloween orange and black colored frosting.
The cookie house itself has a tasty, moderately sweet chocolate cocoa flavor. Granted, it’s still dry, crunchy, and a bit tough. The frosting and the gummies are very sweet and taste good, almost premium! Together, it’s all a great combination and a step above other house decorating kits.
Rereleased October 2, 2024. Found at Aldi.
Aldi Clancy’s Drizzled Maple Kettle Corn
Score: 7 / 10
Moderately sweet with a very bold pumpkin spice taste. The popcorn doesn’t feel as crunchy as other kettle popcorns, although there is still a satisfying one. If you are hesitant about pumpkin spice or pumpkin flavoring, this may feel like too much for you, otherwise, these are pretty good!
Released fall 2023. Rereleased around the same time in 2024.
Lindt Truffles White Chocolate Matcha
Score: 7 / 10
Compared to other Lindt Truffles, this are hardly as sweet. Still, it’s sweet enough and stiffs the bitterness of the matcha flavor, making it quite pleasant. The white chocolate adds a creamy flavor to it. If you’re into matcha, you will absolutely love this, just don’t expect anything too bold or strong as regular matcha.
Not sure of an exact release date. Found at Ocean State Job Lot.
Walgreen’s Gummy Candy Corn
Score: 5 / 10
A weird offshoot of regular candy corn. The flavor is just… not it. I can’t make out the flavor exactly, but I can say it’s definitely not candy corn. Is it a fruity vanilla? I’m not sure. These have a regular gummy texture and are moderately sweet
Not sure when this was released, although it could be related to the recent Walgreen’s and Brach’s partnership.
Snickers Pecan
Score: 7.5 / 10
Substantially more soft and creamy than regular snickers. The peanut butter and caramel flavor seems to have been mostly replaced by a soft white layer of goo, and combined with the light pecan taste, it makes for a great combination. This pecan flavor isn’t as strong as the peanut in normal snickers. Personally, I still slightly prefer a regular snickers, but these are a great option!
First released temporarily in 2019, it then came back August 2024.
