Reviewing Wendy’s Pull-Apart, Pillsbury Caramel Latte Frosting, Little Caesar’s, & More

Double Chocolate is just like their Cupcakes except with a chocolate frosting filling. Basically, as the name suggests, it’s super duper chocolatey and sweet. Personally, it’s just too much for me–this absolutely needs whipped cream or vanilla ice cream! When it’s microwaved, the filling turns to liquid and starts to pour out when cut open.

Chocolate Creamy Caramel is very similar to the Double Chocolate but only slightly lighter in chocolate flavor due to the caramel’ish filling. This filling isn’t really that caramel tasting either, it’s mostly just sweet, and ultimately, gets overwhelmed by the chocolate cake. Microwaved, the inside turns to liquid.

As advertised, a dark chocolate shell encompasses a gooey, coffee-like tasting center. Overall, it’s sweet. I’ve never had a macchiato before so I can’t say if this is precisely like one.

A lot like their chocolate version, although this feels a little more soft and easy to break apart. As usual, the texture of the soft, moist cake is great, and the semi-hard icing on top is a nice addition. The strawberry flavor of it all is tasty and doesn’t taste too artificial or off-putting. Overall, it’s fairly sweet but not overly so.

Not sure why these say ‘new’ as they have been around for several years. They come out for a limited time during the spring season. Found at Walmart.

Why do I love this more than most other frostings?! Compared to others, it’s sweeter, and as advertised, it’s very caramely with a creamy latte taste. I expected a lot more coffee flavor but there wasn’t anything too noticable, likely drowned out by the sweet caramel. This pairs well with most things, including cookies, cupcakes, and brownies, giving them a tasty, sweet, unique flavor.

If you added a bit of extra water to a glass of pink lemonade, this is likely what you’d get. Despite this, it’s still perfectly sweet and punchy to have a bold enough pink lemonade taste. I’m not sure what the filling adds aside from a more chewy and soft texture.

Actually has a birthday cake flavor, not vanilla like some other snacks. The cake and creme inside fills a tinge on the dryer side and isn’t as moist as other Little Debbie snacks. Overall, it’s fairly sweet, and the very crunchy confetti pieces add a nice part to the texture.

Basically, it’s the typical sweet gooey caramel squares with a small added crunch from the embedded pieces. The pieces are flavorless and only add to the texture, which definitely make it a lot better. I guess I still expected something a little different, though, it’s still tasty.

Bake a cinnamon roll and put it in a cup, and this is is what you get. If anything, I found the dough just slightly drier.

Released February 26, 2024 as a breakfast item then a month or so later as an all day item.

Not as sweet as a traditional brownie. Interestingly, both the cookie dough top and brownie bottom have identical soft, easy to bite through textures. Neither overpowers the other, the sweetness is a bit above semi-sweet overall, and you can taste the chocolate from the brownie and cookie dough flavor from the cookie dough. I do like how the cookie dough has a slightly gritty texture almost as if it has sugar crystals embedded in it.

Mostly plain with a thick glob of cheese through it. It reminds me of a bad, doughy mozzarella stick, but really, it’s just regular pizza dough rolled up around some cheese. Overall, it really needs more seasoning, although weirdly, the accompanying Crazy Sauce was overpowering as if the seasoning was too concentrated.

This has come and gone since 2020.

Thick, with a decent layer of cheese and pepperoni. It packs quite a flavorful punch that resembles a greasy, well-seasoned pizza in a round cup form. The Crazy Sauce that comes with it feels a bit much as the seasoning it in tasted too concentrated, not to mention it was ice cold!
