Swerve Monster Cookie Mix
Score: 5.75 / 10

Note: I replaced the peanut butter with 4 oz of apple sauce and 4 tbsp water and the milk with equivalent water. These came out spongy/cakey.
The flavor is mildly sweet, with no discernable flavor. The candies don’t add anything in terms of texture or flavor; they’re practically useless. Essentially, this came out like a semi-thin, moist sponge cake, not at all like a cookie. I suggest baking it in an 8×8 or 9×9 inch pan and adding some toppings. Notably, compared to Halo Top’s Peanut Butter Cookie Mix, these are more thin and substantially less flavorful.
While I’m unsure of an exact release date, reviews and postings date back to around 2024. Found on Amazon.
Swerve Fudge Brownie Mix
Score: 7 / 10

Note: I replaced the butter with apple sauce, which tends to make things more spongy and cakey.
For the calories, these are actually decent brownies; in fact, they’re better than many off-brand ones I’ve had. The flavor is a darker chocolate that is decently sweet, around the same sweetness as a regular boxed brownie. However, there is something about the taste that makes it different, although, to me, not in a good or bad way, just different.
Additionally, the texture is soft, dense, and spongy. Comparing it to Halo Top’s Brownie Mix, this feels a little more airy and falls apart a tad easier. In a way, it feels less fudgy and has a less authentic dark chocolate brownie taste, although it has the same level of sweetness.
Compared to most other brownies (except the Halo Top I previously mentioned), these appear more flat. Despite these caveats, I think most wouldn’t find that much of a difference compared to most other brownies and would enjoy them.
While I’m unsure of an exact release date, reviews date back to around 2020.
Goldfish Cinnamon Giant Grahams
Score: 6 / 10

Indeed, these are giant and quite different from regular goldfish! Instead of being thin and airy, these are thick, solid, and, overall, are on the crunchy side. I especially like that despite being crunchy, they aren’t too crunchy, if that makes sense. There’s something about them that makes it a pleasant eat. Taste-wise, this is absolutely just a solid cinnamon cookie. Decently sweet with an enjoyably enriched cinnamon that doesn’t go overboard.

World’s Finest Chocolate Caramel, Wafer, Milk Chocolate, Almond, W.F. Crisp Bars
Scores
Caramel: 7.5 / 10
Wafer: 6.5 / 10
Milk Chocolate: 7 / 10
Almond: 7 / 10
W.F. Crisp: 7 / 10
Dark Chocolate: 6.5 / 10

Caramel: These remind me of Ghirardelli Caramel Squares but are less sweet and feel less premium. The chocolate here reminds me exactly of Hershey’s: fairly sweet milk chocolate flavor. The inner caramel goo is equally sweet as well. It’s a nice combination, and I also appreciate how thick the chocolate shell is around the caramel, which differs from the more thin Ghiradardelli. Overall, they’re great and really feel like a Hershey’s caramel-filled version vs. the Ghiradarelli competitor. I still prefer the Ghiradarelli, though!
Wafer: The texture reminds me of a Nutty Butty. It’s a full wafer on the inside with thin layers of milk chocolate, light and exceptionally airy. Most of the flavor comes from the outside chocolate layer, giving it a sweet milk chocolate taste. Interestingly, the wafer doesn’t tone the sweet all that much!
Milk Chocolate: No different than a Hershey bar, both in terms of taste, texture, and feel. It’s a sweet, smooth milk chocolate that will satisfy those who love sweets.
Almond: Much more tame in terms of sweetness than the others; granted, it’s still pretty sweet. The decent amount of embedded almonds tones it down and gives it a background nutty taste.
W.F. Crisp: You can’t convince me this isn’t a regular rebranded Hershey bar. However, there are minuscule tiny crisps embedded in it. Frankly, these crisps are hardly noticeable; they’re too small and too few. It’s a sweet milk chocolate bar that needs more crisps to really dub it as a crisp bar–not much else to say!
Dark Chocolate: Just like the milk chocolate, these taste just like Hershey’s dark chocolate bars. They’re not super dark by any means, sporting a moderately sweet (but not as sweet as the milk chocolate) taste. It’s decently smooth, not bitter, and a pleasant candy bar. If anything, it doesn’t taste as premium as other dark chocolate bars as its dark chocolate leans more towards “candy-like” rather than something more robust or fancy.
While I’m unsure of an exact release date, these chocolate bars have been around for a long time. Found at a fundraising event.

Two-bite Oreo Muffins
Score: 5.5 / 10

This ain’t Oreo; in fact, it’s false advertising all the way down! The white cookie bits that you see? Those are only at the very top layer; everything else is plain muffin! They also add nothing to the texture or flavor. And this muffin–to their credit does resemble the cookie part of an Oreo; it’s dark and has around the same level of sweetness–just has a small funky aftertaste I can’t pinpoint. Overall, this is a plain, dark chocolate muffin with a decently soft texture that feels very average.
While I’m unsure of an exact release date, reviews date back to around February 2024. There is also a Chips Ahoy! version as well. Found at Walmart.
Sweetshop Marshmallow Melt’ems
Score: 6 / 10

I didn’t actually expect this to taste so close to marshmallow. Really, it nails the flavor. It’s mildly sweet and has a traditional marshmallow-like flavor. Great for dipping your fruits, candies, and cookies!
While I can’t find an exact release date, reviews date back to sometime in 2024.
Nature Valley Lunch Box S’mores Chewy Granola Bars
Score: 7.5 / 10

S’mores? Eh, not so much. It tastes like one of those regular, cheap granola bars you find at the counter of random places. They’re soft, chewy, and pretty sweet. The entire texture is uniform, from the granola and chocolate underside to the white chocolate chips–yes, those aren’t marshmallows; they’re soft white chocolate chips! Taste-wise, they’re just chocolate granola bars with a tasty milk chocolate and granola taste–not really any marshmallow, and not really like a s’more!
While I’m unsure of an exact release date, reviews date back to around May 2024.
Entenmann’s Iced Party and Chocolate Chip Mini Snack Cakes
Scores
Chocolate Chip: 8 / 10
Party: 7.5 / 10

Chocolate Chip: Wow, this texture is nice! It reminds me of the many cheapo snack cakes I grew up with. Fluffy, reasonably moist, and not super dense–almost fluffy, even. The taste is fairly sweet, with the icing on top adding an extra sweetness kick; as I said, it’s a lot like other snack cakes. The cake as a whole resembles a sweet, buttery vanilla with noticeable milk chocolate from the embedded chocolate chips.
Party: Interestingly, it’s a smidge more fluffy than the chocolate chip version for some reason. Additionally, this is pure vanilla; no chocolate is to be found here! The sweetness level is additionally just a wee bit sweeter, too. All in all, it resembles a sweet vanilla cake with a stiff and sweet, thin frosting.
While I can’t find an exact release date, I started seeing these in March 2025. Found at Stop & Shop.
Stop & Shop Red Velvet Whoopie Pies
Score: 8 / 10

These are so tasty! The ratio of cake to frosting is perfect! A thick, softish layer of super sweet, thick, artificial-tasting cream cheese frosting is in the center, sandwiched by two large red velvet cakes. The cakes fall apart a bit too easily, though, and could be a little more dense to fully match the thick inner frosting. The red velvet isn’t too strong, either; it comes across as more of a plain, lightly sugary sweet cake, with the inner frosting providing most of the flavor and sweetness. When fridged, it all hardens a bit, but it’s still equally enjoyable, just in a different way!
These have been around for several years. Found at Stop & Shop.
