Peeps Filled Ropes

Score: 5.5 / 10

The flavor is exactly like a Peeps: semi-sweet marshmallow with a sugary coating. Of course, the texture is vastly different, with these being thick and chewy ropes instead of the pillowy sugary chicks. Unfortunately, the inside cream doesn’t add anything in terms of flavor or texture, and the colors of the ropes don’t have any effect either. For me personally, I’d rather just eat a regular Peep.

Released early 2024 for the Easter season. Found at Boscov’s.

Walmart Caramel Iced Mini Donuts

Score: 8.5 / 10

Tastes just like a frosted donut you’d find at your typical donut shop. Sweet frosting coupled with a soft textured donut–it’s so good! The layer of frosting, as advertised, has a tasty salted caramel taste and really makes the donut, well, a salted caramel donut!

Released around March 2024.

Chips Ahoy! Chewy Hershey’s S’mores

Score: 7 / 10

Compared to other Chips Ahoy! Cookies, these are a lot less sweet. Instead of the usual chocolate cookie taste, it resembles a graham cracker-like taste (which is likely why it’s less sweet), and with the addition of the large chocolate chunks and white marshmallow chips, there is an overall s’mores flavor. I wish it was sweeter to really bring out the ingredients more.

Released late April / early May 2024. Exclusive to Walmart, limited edition.

McDonald’s Grandma McFlurry

Score: 8 / 10

Sweetest McFlurry by far! The entire thing is mixed with super sweet butterscotch crunchy crumbles and syrup. It does really well paired with the soft vanilla ice cream. From having tried most of the McFlurrys over the last several years, this has been my favorite McFlurry yet. I especially love how packed it is with flavor and bits compared to others they’ve released.

Released May 22, 2024 for a limited time.

Prime Bites Protein Brownies

Score: 8 / 10

These are all quite thick, especially for a brownie. They’re all moist, soft, almost squishy, and the flavors are represented fairly well. However, there is a reason why people find these polarizing: there is a sour-like, off’ish note that sticks out when eating, and I could see this as turning a lot of people off. I’m not sure what it’s from, however, at least for me, I was able to mostly ignore it and find these brownies very enjoyable.

Not sure when these were released although around 2022-2024, they became popular on TikTok.

Dave & Buster’s R U Cereal Cake

Score: 8 / 10

A fairly sweet, fruity milky cake. The cake itself is regular vanilla cake with peaks of fruity Froot Loops flavor throughout. Similarly sweet, the creamy, semi-thick milk is a wonderful addition and doesn’t make the cake soggy whatsoever. The cotton candy on top is also nice addition. Overall, this cereal cake resembles the aftertaste of milk after eating Froot Loops.

Released March 25, 2024, likely for a limited time.

Reese’s Jumbo Cup

Score: 8 / 10

A Reese’s. A bigger one. That’s pretty much it. Most importantly, the ratio of peanut butter to chocolate is more or less the same to that of a regular Reese’s.

Released mid May 2024, initially exclusive to Walgreens but it will come to other stores later on. Likely limited edition. The physical differences between these and other versions can be found here.

Nature Valley Soft Baked Cinnamon Brown Sugar Oatmeal Squares

Score: 7.5 / 10

Essentially, a nicely sweet, cinnamon sugar oatmeal in the form of a soft baked bar. It doesn’t come across as too sweet, nothing is artificial, and the taste is spot on. Though, I do wish the squares were a little bigger!

Not sure when this was released although reviews date back to 2013.

Betty Crocker Delights, Peanut Butter Cookie Brownie

Score: 8 / 10

When making this, for better or worse, you’ll end up with a little more peanut butter batter than actual brownie batter. Nonetheless, it still comes out great! The brownie itself is a regular, plain ol’ brownie, but what really makes it are the soft chunks of peanut butter. This peanut butter is creamy tasting, sweet, and not overly artificial or off-putting. Together, both the brownie and the peanut butter are a wonderful combination, however, I wish the brownie had more flavor.

Not sure when this was released although reviews date back several years.

Lofthouse Strawberry Shortcake Frosted Cookies

Score: 8 / 10

These are not as artificial tasting or sweet as other Lofthouse cookies, though, a good amount of sweetness still comes through. The frosting tastes like a sweet, creamy strawberry, and with the light tasting cookie, it really feels like it’s a strawberry shortcake in cookie form. Texture-wise, the cookie is a bit crumbly but pleasant to eat due to it’s soft and ever so slightly moist composition.

Not sure when this was released although reviews date back several years.
