This snack review has GoMacro Macrobar, Trade Joe’s Black Tea Boba and Banana Pudding Ice Cream, as well as Trader Joe’s Mini Cheesecake Cones, and Takis Jalapeno Typhoon Kettlez. The worst of the bunch was the Macrobar as the taste was something really odd. However, the Trader Joe’s goodies were decent enough to maybe get again at some point.
GoMacro Protein Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Macrobar

Barely tastes like peanut butter and the chocolate chip isn’t even noticeable. It’s more of a semi-sweet, almost odd tasting protein bar. The overall taste is something I can’t describe. It isn’t like a non-vegan bar… I just don’t know… unpleasantly tasting are the words. The texture is thick, a little skinny, and chewy.
The company was founded in 2014, not sure when this specific bar was released.
Trader Joe’s Mini Cheesecake Cones

Interestingly, for whatever reason, when your fingers touch the cone, it starts to become sticky. The cone itself seems to have a frozen syrup coating that’s fairly sweet. The filling tastes mostly like a plain frozen whipped cream or soft serve. None of this tastes like cheesecake.
May have been rereleased around May 2022 after being discontinued for some time.
Takis Jalapeno Typhoon Kettlez
Score: 6 / 10
It’s a fairly strong and spicy jalapeno flavor with additional spices and flavors mixed in. The texture is exactly like a regular crunchy kettle chip.
Released around March 2021 alongside the Fuego flavor.
Trader Joe’s Black Tea and Boba Coconut Ice Cream

A little bitter, semi sweet, black tea flavored ice cream with just a hint of brown sugar. There’s a good amount of chewy tasty boba mixed in as well. I wish it was on the milkier and sweeter tasting side, then again, it wouldn’t be black tea then!

Trader Joe’s Banana Pudding Flavored Ice Cream

The ice cream as a whole tastes like a creamy banana with almost a hint of graham cracker taste in every bite. Overall, it tastes a lot as advertised and isn’t overly sweet. The graham cracker pieces adds a little bit of texture although the little bits aren’t crunchy as they’re small and soggy, but they are noticeable and a nice addition.
