Old El Paso Cinnamon Churro Fiesta Twists

Score: 6 / 10

Whoa, these really remind me of Taco Bell’s Cinnamon Twists! The texture is a little more stiff and the flavor is less pronounced, though. Personally, I think these do need more cinnamon and sugar added to them because right now, there a tad on the bland side. Still, not bad, but they could be so much better.

Released early 2024 along with other flavors. Found at Walmart.

Old El Paso Salsa Verde Fiesta Twists

Score: 7 / 10

Incredibly bold, seasoned salsa verde flavor that punches you right in the mouth. It’s very tasty and has a small but noticable kick to them. You really get a variety of spices that come together to form a yummy concoction. The texture is crispy and airy, it’s very satisfying.

Released early 2024 along with other flavors. Found at Walmart.

Reese’s Outrageous Bar

Score: 8 / 10

Lightly crunchy from all the Reese’s Pieces stuffed in this thing. It’s a super complex candy bar because it has so many competing textures from the sticky caramel, peanut butter, and crunchy Pieces. If you’re a Reese’s fan like me, though, you’ll absolutely find these to be outrageously good–Peanut butter galore!!

Released around May 2018. Found at Walmart.

Hostess Orange Cupcakes

Score: 8.5 / 10

A super moist, creamy, orangey flavored cupcake. These are so tasty and don’t come across as too artificial, however, they are sweet! I really appreciate how the orange flavor isn’t too punchy or sour, it’s very refreshing and works well with the creamy cupcake. Not to mention, the wonderful creamy inside makes it all the better!

Released in the 1940s.

7-Eleven Select Bayou New Orleans Style Chips

Score: 5.5 / 10

Well-seasoned chips with a nice kick. The seasoning resembles a bit of garlic, paprika, and other spices. It’s all pretty tasty, especially if you want something with some spiciness that isn’t over overbearing.

Released around early 2024 alongside a spicy version.

7-Eleven Select Cheesy Garlic Bread Chips

Score: 7 / 10

Not nearly as garlicy as your traditional garlic chips, but wow, they have a bold, buttery taste. I didn’t get a bread taste, however, I’m fine with the garlic and butter, and frankly, it’s kind of fun pretending I’m eating crunchy garlic bread.

Not sure when this was released but likely early 2024.

Mother’s Frosted Springtime Buddies Cookies

Score: 7.5 / 10

Sweeter than I expected but still not overbearing. They’re pleasantly crunchy, and the thin layer of frosting, interestingly, seems to be about the same texture as the cookie. I do love the taste, a nice bold vanilla!

Mother’s Cookies have been around for a long time. Not sure when these specific ones were released. Found at Ocean State Job Lot.

Old El Paso Cinnamon Toast Crunch Dessert Taco Shells

Score: 2 / 10

Just like a hard-shelled taco, I don’t want my food completely spilling out once I take a bite. With ice cream, however, it’s even worse because it’s partially liquid, leaving you ice cream and any other toppings in a mushy mess that you have to somehow hold together. It basically makes dessert unfun, too messy, and frustrating.

Immediately opening, I noticed they were a little sticky, likely because of the cinnamon-sugar coating. I was excited because the coating looked thick and substantial, but after trying a bite, I was stumped at how bland it was. The cinnamon and sugar was hardly noticeable, and coupled with the dry texture of the taco–even with ice cream, it wasn’t good. In the end, I just ended up scrapping these shells entirely.

Released February 7, 2024. Found at Walmart.

Kellogg’s Cocoa Krispies Cereal Straws

Score: 7.5 / 10

I’m actually really surprised the chocolate in these tastes just like Cocoa Krispies instead of some cheap imitation. The straws are lightly crunchy and soft, nowhere near as crunchy to make a crazy mess if you bite into them. The filling is soft too. These make a great cereal straw and a snack to just enjoy!

Discontinued some time ago. Rereleased in 2021 along with other cereal straw flavors.

Pillsbury Gingerbread Cookie Mix

Score: 7.5 / 10

The cookies came out a little thin for my taste, however, they were soft and pliable enough to enjoy. The flavor is a bold gingerbread with nutmeg and cinnamon nuances added to the taste profile. Reasonable sweet already, I also found that a thin layer of cream cheese frosting compliments them nicely!

Not sure when these were released. Found at Dollar Tree.
