Reviewing Cinnadust Cookies & Frosting, Lucky Charms Cookies, & More

Updated:

This snack review has Pillsbury Lucky Charms Soft Baked Cookies, Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cinnadust Cookies and Frosting, Hershey’s Milklicious Kisses, Little Debbie Cookies & Creme Brownies, and Toll House Frosted Cinnamon Roll Truffles. My absolute favorites were the Cinnadust Cookies because of how sweet and close they were to the cereal version. The Little Debbie Cookies & Creme Brownies were interesting because I couldn’t tell the difference between them and Cosmic Brownies. Overall, about half these snacks weren’t too good!

Pillsbury Lucky Charms Soft Baked Cookies

Score: 4 / 10

Front package of Pillsbury soft baked Lucky Charms cereal cookies.

A semi-sweet butter cookie with a hint of Lucky Charms marshmallow flavor. The texture is very soft, almost flimsy, and feels and tastes really artificial. Warmed up, it’s slightly better overall.

Released March 2023 alongside a Cinnamon Toast Crunch version. Found at Walmart.

Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cinnadust Cookies & Frosting

Score: 10 / 10

The cookie itself is fairly sweet, cinnamon sugar taste, but not exactly like Cinnamon Toast Crunch. The texture is good, it’s slightly soft, not crunchy, basically, a lot like a regular cookie texture. The frosting is key and really brings out the flavor making it taste like a very sweet version of Cinnamon Toast Crunch in cookie form.

Released late 2021 alongside Pancake Mix and other types of mixes. Found at a variety of stores.

Nestle Toll House Bite Size Filled Baking Frosted Cinnamon Roll Truffles

Score: 4 / 10

Front package of Nestle Toll House Bite Size Filled Baking Frosted Cinnamon Roll Truffles.

I did not bake with these! I immediately noticed how amazing these smell―like cinnamon rolls! The taste is semi-sweet white chocolate with a hint of cinnamon, not as sweet as a cinnamon roll nor does it match the flavor exactly. It’s more like a lightly sweet, off-tasting cinnamon roll. The texture is soft like a truffle and a bit of filling.

Likely released (although some sources suggest it’s a rerelease) around March 2022 alongside two other truffle flavors: Chocolate Lava, and Chocolate Caramel Dulce de Leche. Found at Stop & Shop.

Hershey’s Milklicious Kisses

Score: 5 / 10

Front package of Share size Hershey's Milklicious Kisses.

If you ever had a Russell Stover truffle, image that but a lot less sweet. These taste like very mild, light chocolate truffles. The center is soft while the shell is a typical Kiss. Overall, I prefer the originals as they’re a tad sweeter.

Released March 2023. Found at a variety of stores.

Back package, ingredients, and nutrition label of share size Hershey's Milklicious Kisses.

Little Debbie Cookies & Creme Brownies

Score: 7 / 10

Large package of Little Debbie Cookies & Creme Brownies.

Honestly, I can’t tell much of a difference between these and Cosmic Brownies. The chocolate brownie itself is as sweet as the Cosmic one and the texture and taste is the same. The thin layer of white creme on top isn’t noticeable as it’s overshadowed by everything else. The small bits of cookie are also hardly noticeable and don’t really provide anything to texture or taste.

Several sources (here, here) suggest a different early-mid 2023 release month but reviews from late mid-late 2021 exist. Found at Walmart.
