Review

Truth be told, I’m not the biggest fan of Biscoff cookies or their cookie butter; they’re okay, but they’re more on the plain side for my liking. As for this cake, it almost resembles a light-tasting coffee cake, albeit the flavor notes are tuned just a little differently–I can’t put my finger on it. Definitely not as sweet, for one, and perhaps more focused on the caramel-like taste rather than cinnamon.

Overall, there’s a noticeable creamy caramel and cinnamon flavor, as well as traditional coffee cake soft-crunchy streusel throughout. It’s moderately sweet and pleasant, nowhere close to as sweet as most of their other cakes and cookies. As for texture, the frosting and cake itself is incredibly soft and feels premium.

I like this cake, but I don’t love it. I haven’t tried many of their cakes, and for this, personally, I would rather just get one of their cookies. Maybe I’m just more into their cookies!
