Brach’s Mellowcreme Caramel Apples Candy

Score: 7 / 10

Review

These are nearly as sweet as regular candy corn but a little less so; however, they are more flavorful in a sense. There’s a noticeable, candy caramel apple taste that doesn’t taste too artificial or off-putting. I’m actually surprised about how they replicated this sweet caramel apple flavor so well, and it does seem to resemble a lot of the caramel apple flavors I get from other sweet treats.

Of course, like other candy corn, these are thick, soft, and lightly chewy. Really, the only standout between these and candy corn is the flavor; if you want something a little less sweet and more flavorful, try these!

Release Date

While I can’t find an exact release date, the earliest review I found dates back to October 2023. Found mid-September 2025 at Walmart.

Flix Beetlejuice Sour Gummies Candy

Score: 4.5 / 10

Review

Why do these taste like perfume? Ugh, yuck, these are so artificial and feel so cheap!

They’re fairly sweet with a hint of sourness, and each piece tastes slightly different, but more or less, they all taste sugary and very artificial, giving off perfume and synthetic-flavored vibes. I honestly can’t even make out the flavors they’re supposed to represent.

Even the texture feels like they cut corners. It’s an overly chewy gummy that takes several chews to eventually work your way through, which will surely tire your jaw out. It’s like a hard-chewy gummy–not my thing.

Not a pleasant eating experience. They’re cheap for a reason, I guess.

Release Date

While I can’t find an exact release date, most reviews date back to early-mid September 2024. Found mid-September 2025 at Walmart.

Warheads Ooze Chewz Sour Caramel Apple Filled Ropes

Score: 5.25 / 10

Review

Definitely sweet with a milder sourness–there seem to be sugar crystals around the outside to even emphasize this. The flavor clocks in as mostly a sugary candy flavor, and frankly, I didn’t notice much of any, if at all, caramel taste, though there seems to be an essence of sweet candy apple. Definitely artificial and more so sugary–not a “this is clearly apple” kind of thing.

The insides have an orange center that compositionally resembles its chewy green rope shell, so it doesn’t contribute much to the mouthfeel department–it all feels uniform. More or less, they’re a lot like other ropes-based candy in this department: chewy, with some additional texture from the sugar crystals.

Overall, I’m somewhat disappointed. I really expected a noticeable caramel apple taste, but instead I was given something that’s mostly sugar with candy apple vibes. They’re not bad, though. I just wish they were more sour and had better overall flavor.

Release Date

Released around late August 2025. Found mid-September 2025 at Walmart.

Nature’s Garden Probiotic Mixed Berry Yoggies

Score: 6 / 10

Review

Such an interesting texture; they’re soft and easy to bite through, but also have a slightly firm, pushback-like texture to them. They aren’t a gummy–it’s hard to explain, but either way, I like this texture–it’s different, and I feel many would actually enjoy it.

The flavor is a moderately sweet berry. It’s definitely not just an authentic berry; it seems to have traces of a candy berry mixed in to kick up the sweetness. These are also lightly creamy; however, I expected more of that and an actual yogurt taste because after all–read the name!

These are sweet snacks, not so much your yogurt replacement; there is no two ways about them. Unfortunately, I didn’t think they nailed the yogurty flavors and texture well enough to say it’s based on that.

Release Date

This flavor was released in 2024. Found mid-September 2025 at Walmart.

Skittles Gummies Fuego Gummy Candy

Score: 2.5 / 10

Review

These absolutely have that sweet, authentic Starburst underlying flavor from the gummy, but then, a second or two later, you’re hit with a spicy, lingering kick that will make you cough (and gag).

Personally, while I love spicy foods, something about this spicy flavor feels artificial and simply doesn’t fit in well with the sweet gummy. It’s like a weird, metallic, prominent, and frankly, nasty flavor. At the very least, I enjoyed the sweetness and its fruit flavor specifically, but that kick… so odd and ruins the entire experience.

Like their other gummies, these are reasonably soft and chewy, and the outside spicy coating profiles a contrasting, more sugar-crystal-like mouthfeel. It’s an interesting combination; however, it’s something I wouldn’t buy again because the spicy flavor wasn’t good, but I’m glad I tried.

Release Date

Released mid-late August on the TikTok Shop. Found on the Walmart website in mid-September 2025.

Tombstone Chili Cheese French Fry Style Crust Pizza

Score: 7 / 10

Review

The crust makes this. It’s on the thinner side, crunchy, and resembles a mildly seasoned potato–essentially, a French fry tasting crust. While it is crunchy, when you bite through it, there’s a French-fry-like chew on the inner part of the dough. Flavor-wise, it’s a super lightly seasoned French fry potato.

On top of that (literally) is a reasonably seasoned, thin layer of cheese and chunky chopped-up beef pieces that have an overall chili cheese taste. It has your traditional chili cheese seasoning and even a light kick. However, notably, it isn’t as bold or pronounced as if you were to chow down on chili cheese directly–the crust here tones it down to a more manageable level.

This is a good, unique-tasting pizza. It’s pretty accurate to what’s advertised! If I had to nitpick, a bolder chili cheese flavor would be appreciated alongside more seasoning in the crust itself.

Release Date

Released July 2025 alongside a Loaded Bacon Cheddar flavor. Found mid-September 2025 at Walmart.

Cizmeci Time Wafer Master Findik Kremali Crepe

Score: 6.5 / 10

Review

These are super thick and large wafer-like rolls. Basically, imagine a cream-filled wafer roll, but 2-3 times as large in an oval crepe-like shape.

The taste is a very mildly sweet, hazelnut chocolate. Honestly, it’s not nearly as sweet as any other filled wafer roll I’ve had; it’s extremely tame and seems to hold back too much. The wafer similarly has an equally mild chocolate-hazelnut and wafer flavor.

Going back to the composition, it’s very soft and easy to bite through, offering a thin, crispy, and airy crunch. Unfortunately, like the flavor, the filling looks generous, but when you look more into it, it’s on the more hollow side, and the cream itself is thin, providing only a mild creamy contrast.

In the end, these are interesting but very underwhelming. They need more sugar and flavor, and could use a thicker, more premium crunch.

Release Date

I’m unsure of a release date. Found at Ocean State Job Lot mid-September 2025.

David Protein Bars: Cake Batter and Red Velvet

Score: 6.5 / 10 (for both)

Review

The texture of these, at least how it looks and initial feel, reminds me of a regular Quest bar with a tiny mix-in addition of a Rice Krispies treat. Unlike a Quest bar, however, it’s not quite as rubbery or fake. Instead, while much of the bar feels a bit artificial (not necessarily in a bad way), it’s softer, mildly dense, and easy to bite through with little crunchy rice pieces mixed throughout. The mouthfeel, overall, is pleasant and has a nice contrast, though nothing too crazy to really gloat about. Essentially, the mouthfeel is inoffensive and doesn’t try anything crazy.

Taste-wise, it’s a mild to moderately sweet red velvet flavor. Nothing screams artificial or “protein bar” taste. In fact, I could almost see this as a light-tasting candy bar. Like its texture, it comes off as unoffending and decent.

The Birthday Cake has identical everything except for the flavor itself. It’s essentially a light vanilla mixed with an essence of birthday cake. Honestly, to me, it’s a bit too light on the sweetness side because after all, isn’t this supposed to be a birthday cake-flavored bar? At best, it makes for a decent, inoffensive vanilla-based protein treat that tastes like a mild vanilla candy treat.

Release Date

Cake Batter was released on September 16, 2024, and Red Velvet was released in May 2025. Found on Netrition in late September 2025.

Built Sour Puff Protein Bars: Blue Razz Blast, Sweet Peach Punch, and Green Apple Crush

Score: 7.25 / 10 (each)

Review

All of these have the same wonderful texture: a super soft marshmallow-like composition with a slight pull; you can bite right through it with ease, and it nearly melts in your mouth! Interestingly, the shell is soft and seems to be a mix of marshmallow and a regular soft-solid shell, while the inside is even more chewy and softer. When you dig down and bite into it, you get a small mozzarella cheese-like pull, too! Lastly, the little sugar sprinkles on top are a nice touch.

These taste more or less as advertised. The Blue Razz Blast is sweet with a light sour note. I thought this would taste weird, but nope, it’s like a sweet blue raspberry piece of candy or a blue ICEE type flavor, yum!

Similarly, the other two are just as sweet and have the flavors they advertise, albeit they aren’t as sour. The Green Apple Crush gives strong candy lollipop vibes, while the Sweet Peach Punch hits you with a sugary peachy candy taste. Both are equally tasty and uniquely different in terms of flavor.

What I really enjoyed, too, was that none of the tastes were weird or artificial. Genuinely, they all taste like sweet marshmallow candy bar treats that don’t at all resemble a protein bar. No aftertaste, no weirdness, and definitely no protein bar taste here!

Personally, I can’t name a favorite, but what I can do is recommend them. They’re all unique, from the mouthfeel to the flavors–you won’t find these elsewhere!

Release Date

Released around mid-August 2025. Found on Netrition in late September 2025.
