Review
Fruity Pebbles: This three-layered bar, with hard-soft pink frosting on top containing a good amount of embedded Fruity Pebbles pieces, a middle vanilla cake-like layer, and a thin white cream at the bottom, makes this feel like a version of the Fruity Pebbles cereal bar. It’s thick, reasonably chewy, and the three layers make for an interesting composition!
The big question: is it fruity pebbles? I’d say it’s about 85 percent there. You can absolutely taste the fruity pebbles and some milky/vanilla creaminess that coincides with it, but unfortunately, with the annoying addition of a tiny bit of a background “protein bar” taste. Also, it’s not quite as sweet as Fruity Pebbles; it’s close, and while the entire bar is still fairly sweet overall, it misses it by just an inch.
If you love fruity pebbles like a normal person, you’ll enjoy this; just don’t expect a perfect 1-to-1 rendition. At the same time, this may be as close as you can get, especially in a protein bar form, so I think most people would appreciate how reasonably close it is.
Overall, it’s tasty, mostly authentic tasting, fairly sweet, and has a fruity pebbles taste. It’s just missing a little bit of sweetness and needs to drop that “protein bar” taste a bit more—I feel like I might be nitpicking at this point, honestly.
Cocoa Pebbles: A milk chocolate-looking top with embedded cocoa pebble pieces, a thin dark cake-like inside, and a bottom layer of glazed chocolate—this is definitely an extra-looking chocolate bar, to say the least. But is it Cocoa Pebbles?
I guess I can sort of see it. Cocoa Pebbles is a sweet, semi-dark chocolate cereal, and this is a very chocolatey bar—I guess my thought is that this bar feels like it’s trying to use a variety of different chocolates, and in doing so, doesn’t nail down the authentic, more uniform flavor of Cocoa Pebbles.
Essentially, this is more or less a very chocolatey bar with slightly different tones of moderately sweet chocolates—not really Cocoa Pebbles. It’s simply missing that genuine Cocoa Pebbles chocolate, in my opinion.
Zig Zag Cake: I swear I’ve had this same exact protein bar before, whether it was from Pure Protein or elsewhere. It’s your standard, typical, generic vanilla protein bar, basically.
This is a fairly sweet bar with a vanilla protein taste—you know, the standard, almost odd vanilla protein-tasting ones—it’s not bad, but it does take a moment to get used to it. Also, it does not feel as thick or premium as its Fruity Pebbles or Cocoa Pebbles counterparts, as this simply has a white chocolate shell around a chewy, semi-thick cake-like inside, unlike the three separate layers. The flavors aren’t as nuanced either—again, this is bog-standard vanilla protein from the inside out.
In terms of a Zebra Cake, while it may look like it, it’s not quite so. Then again, aren’t Zebra Cakes just a sweet sugary vanilla anyway? I guess so, but something about this just tastes a bit different, like it’s an off-brand version. To me, it’s missing the waxy-like, buttery cake and ultra-sweet processed vanilla flavor it’s famous for.

Second Nature/Sheila G Limited Edition Caramel Apple Brownie Brittle
Score: 6 / 10

Review
Did they burn mine? Because they’re a lot darker than what appears in the picture. When biting in, it feels like you’re biting into a dry, thin, crunchy cookie; it’s not bad or too rough like other crunchy cookies I’ve had, though, not great either. The mouthfeel, overall, is just okay.
The flavor of these cookies is moderately sweet-tasting caramel with just a background of apple. Yes, for the most part, it’s a sweet, sugary caramel. Unfortunately, much of the apple is absent.
Despite being a bark, these simply feel more like thin crunchy cookies. The flavor is pretty decent though—quite sweet and caramelly!

These seem to have been released around the late summer of 2021 and have come back again in later years. Found at Ocean State Job Lot mid-August 2025.
Oreo Liete Perugia Brezza D’Oriente Con Farina Integrale
Score: 5.5 / 10

Review
Quite dry—I need a drink after biting into one! It’s reasonably soft and, in addition, somewhat crumbly because of the dryness. Still, it’s a chewy-ish cookie. Surprisingly, the filling is very thin, and it’s nowhere near as pictured. It looks gooey upon closer inspection, but to my mouth, I hardly noticed it. Not a terrible texture, but quite grainy and dry overall and needs to be improved.
The flavor resembles grains and oats mixed with just a background of a fruity-like taste. This fruit is too light for me to decipher; it feels like a mix of a few nuanced flavors but needs more sweetness to bring them out.

got milk? Cookies & Creme and Heavenly Hazelnut Mini Wafer Cubes
Scores:
Heavenly Hazelnut: 7.5/ 10
Cookies & Creme: 8.25 / 10

Review
Heavenly Hazelnut: For a wafer, these do have several decent-sized helpings of creamy hazelnut layers. It’s complemented nicely with the reasonably premium-tasting wafers that are lightly crunchy and airy. Interestingly, the wafers are a little dark—I guess I expected something more lightly colored. Anyway, that’s beside the point—the taste here is an authentic, moderately sweet hazelnut. Not sweet like Nutella, it feels like a genuinely, almost lightly dark chocolate with hazelnut flavoring. These feel more on the premium end of wafers. The texture and flavors are good, the filling is fulfilling, and they have a great mouthfeel.
Cookies & Creme: Holy moly! I did not expect these to have nearly the taste of Oreo, specifically the creamy filling part. Basically, imagine you took off the inside layer of an Oreo, added some more sugar, and slapped it on a lightly dark chocolate wafer—this is precisely that! It’s extraordinarily creamy and sweet—even more so than an Oreo—and the semi-dark chocolate, lightly crunchy wafer perfectly complements it. Overall, I feel like it’s 75 percent Oreo cream tasting and 25 percent chocolate wafer—yum!

Anastasia / Oh!asis Island Rum Coconut Patties
Score: 7.5 / 10

Review
This feels like a macaroon in square form and slightly more moist. Other than that, it’s ground-up coconut (just like a macaroon) with a sweet, thin milk chocolate shell. What stands out the most is the flavor—and wow, it’s intensely bold, to say the least!
You’re immediately hit with a super sweet, artificial-ish rum flavor. It’s artificial, sure, but it does work well with the coconut and chocolate. It’s not alcoholic tasting; it’s simply like a flavored syrup they used instead with the addition of a ton of sugar. I can’t stress this enough—it’s super duper sweet, as I’ve said a few times!
If you love macaroons like I do, you’ll enjoy these. Though, if you’re prone to any type of fake or artificial flavors, you may want to look away. Also, if you couldn’t already tell, these still do come across as much sweeter than macaroons, however.
As a side note, these are also good chilled!

Keebler E.L. Fudge Double Stuffed and Choco Vanilla Elfwich
Scores:
Double Stuffed: 7.25 / 10
Choco Vanilla: 6 / 10

Review
Double Stuffed: As advertised, these are indeed quite stuffed! They’re like a triple or even quadruple stuffed Oreo for reference! This inside cream is on the lighter side in terms of texture—it’s quite soft and airy for a frosting. It almost feels cheap, but since there’s so much, it makes up for it! Of course, last but not least, the crunchy cookie does provide a nice contrast and a good sandwich to hold it together!
The cookie part itself is just a smidge buttery, with much of the flavor coming from the inner cream. It’s milk chocolate fudge, but unlike fudge, it’s not nearly as sweet; it’s much more mild and pleasant overall.
I normally don’t like Keebler because I find their cookies bland, but what saved these was the thick layer of fudgy frosting, and for some reason, these cookies did seem to sport a super light, appreciable butter-like taste.
Choco Vanilla: These feel like wannabe Oreos. The cookie part gives a light dark chocolate flavor, but it’s held back by the lack of sweetness as well as it being on the thinner, crunchier, cheaper-feeling side. Unfortunately, the inner cream doesn’t help much either because not only is it much thinner than its fudge counterpart, but it also just needs more sweetness to assist in making it more creamy and impactful—or better yet, just double stuff it like you did with the other!
Overall, this feels like a lackluster cookies-and-cream-based cookie. I feel like everything, from the cookie to the cream, could be improved one way or another.

Pepperidge Farm Milano Chai Latte White Chocolate Cookies
Score: 6.5 / 10

Review
II think the barista added too much sugar to my chai latte! While I’d love that, the point I’m making is that these are sweeter than you might think. I expected a lighter flavor with mild sweetness, something more typical of Pepperidge Farm cookies, but this swings pretty hard in terms of its sugar content.
This does result in the authentic chai flavor being a bit stronger than what you may expect, though; I’m not sure if I get precisely a latte flavor either—where is the coffee here? I guess there’s some creaminess to it at least.
The texture is typical of Milano cookies: lightly buttery and semi-dry cookies that surround a super thin cream. Both the filling and cookie taste more or less the same, as it feels like the chai flavoring is embedded throughout the cookie.

Jelly Belly Birthday Cake Jelly Beans
Score: 4.5 / 10

Review
Too artificial for my tastes. It’s definitely a birthday cake flavor they’re going for, albeit it comes across as very, very fake tasting, to the point where it was off-putting. It’s hard to explain; it essentially tastes like they used a slightly bitter birthday cake flavoring syrup and added some sugar together. Not my thing.
At the very least, the texture is decent. Chewy and thick, typical of those other jelly beans.
