Lay’s Honey Butter Chips
Score: 7 / 10
Melted butter with several pinches of sugar, that’s the flavor. This butteryness is quite bold and strong, it really makes up the entire chip! Overall, it’s both buttery and sweet, not much else to say!
Released alongside a Masala and Tzatziki flavor August 8, 2024 for a limited time. Found at Stop & Shop.
Lay’s Masala Chips
Score: 3 / 10
I’m not joking when I say this, but these taste like someone farted on them. A weird, rotten-egg, off-smell got my immediate attention followed by a pure spicy cumin taste. Yuck! Needless to say, these aren’t good.

Lay’s Tzatziki Wavy Chips
Score: 6 / 10
More or less tzatziki tasting. It’s creamy, and has that light, iconic tzatziki taste. However, as someone who likes stronger tasting chips, I found these a bit plain. Still, they’re unoffending and tasty enough to suit most picky eaters or those curious to try differently flavored foods

Stop & Shop Blueberry Creme Cake
Score: 8 / 10
More or less, the cake itself is an especially moist, blueberry muffin, albeit, more sweeter. The drizzle is what really makes it. This soft creme drizzle is very sweet and really adds to the sweetness as a whole. Overall, the texture is great and I absolutely love how sweet it is–it really brings out the blueberry flavor!
Not sure when this was released. Exclusive to Stop & Shop and related grocery stores.
Cup Noodles Everything Bagel
Score: 5.5 / 10
This actually works pretty well. It’s a garlicy, creamy tasting soup. You can also taste some butter and the traditional bagel seasoning which works fairly well with the cup ramen noodles. All in all, it works well in noodles, it’s just not for me.
Released early April 2024 for a limited time. Found at Walmart.
Aldi Chocolate Chip Frosted Cookie Dough Cookies
Score: 8 / 10
Slightly thinner than your average boxed sugar cookies from companies like Lofthouse. They’re also slightly less sweet, less dry, and softer. That may be because of the supposed cookie dough flavor (and texture?) they’re aiming for. Indeed, it’s a mix of chocolate chip cookie flavor and cookie dough. Combined with the sweet frosting, they’re pretty sweet overall but not overly so.
Not sure when these were released. Found at Aldi.
Roshen Bubble White, Milk, & Caramel Chocolate Bars
Score: 6.5 / 10
So interesting! The inside of these have tiny little holes and that resemble a cake-like texture. Texture-wise, these are a tad more dry and soft compared to regular chocolate bars. Also, don’t confuse this with more creaminess, because in that aspect, there isn’t much difference.
None of them are as sweet as Hershey’s chocolate bars, they simply fall into “about right.” All three bars taste exactly as advertised without having any off-putting or artificialness. The only one that’s notable is the caramel bar because of how especially mild the caramel flavor is.
Not sure when these were released. Found at Ocean State Job Lot.
Walmart Bakery Pumpkin Cake Roll
Score: 8 / 10
This smells strongly like sweet pumpkin. Biting in, the roll itself is a little more dry to my liking, and it has a pumpkiny taste. The overly soft inner frosting is very sweet, artificial, and resembles a sugary cream cheese. All together, it feels light and almost airy; tasty enough to recommend, however, those sensitive to sweetness might want to steer clear.
Released around 2013. Comes around every late summer / fall season.
Orion Chocolate Churro Turtle Chips
Score: 7 / 10
These are like small rolled, semi-crunchy-soft pastry bites. Flavor-wise, it nails the chocolate cinnamon taste. Not too sweet, there’s a bold milk chocolate taste with an appreciable cinnamon background. Together, it’s a great combination. I especially love the pastry-like texture, it really can’t be understated!
Turtle Chips have been around since 2017, although I’m not sure about this flavor.
Dunkin’ Donuts Dunkalatte
Score: 7.5 / 10
Reminds me of an adult coffee milk! You absolutely get that traditional coffee milk flavor, but this time, there’s the bold taste of coffee in the background. Granted, I don’t have much experience with lattes–is this just a more coffee version of a regular latte? How is it different? Regardless, it’s a tasty drink that reminds me of Rhode Island!
Released August 28, 2024.
