Reviewing Maruchan Funyuns, Mr. Brownie Snacks, Sparkling Ice Starburst, & More

Sparkling Ice perfected this! Basically, it’s exactly as advertised. It has a sweet, Strawberry Starburst flavor that mirrors its candy counterpart, albeit, in a liquid form. Definitely get this if you’re into Starburst!

I’m not exactly sure what to make of this. The flavor is complex with that of a biscuit, semi-sweet chocolate, and something else that adds a lot more nuance. It’s an alcohol-like taste? Not sure. Either way, it all comes together and tastes pretty good! The texture is soft, a tad dry, and lightly crumbly.

Surprisingly light tasting given the flowers. For the most part, it’s a combination of onion and vinegar. Neither are overpowering and can’t be compared to typical vinegar or onion chips. Basically, they’re unoffending and offer flavors that usually aren’t this light.

Regular, soft donuts with a thin layer of soft strawberry frosting. It’s very normal tasting, nothing out of the ordinary or different than your traditional tasting donuts. All the flavor comes from the sweet artificial tasting strawberry frosting.

Both the advertised flavors here are not at all strong. A tiny kick with a light cheese flavor, nothing more. Still, there is enough flavor to be decent. Texture, of course, is crunchy and typical Funyuns.

This is spicy ramen! You can absolutely taste the ramen itself, the seasoning, and, of course, the spicy kick. It really is spicy noodle ramen in a crunchy rounded form. Lastly, despite being the Funyuns brand, I didn’t get much onion from it.

Semi-dark, moderately sweet, odd looking brownies. Speaking of odd, these come across as artificial but not too off-putting. Texture-wise, they’re a bit chewy and mildly moist. I’m not sure these are worth buying, you’d honestly have a better time with Little Bites or other packaged brownies.

Each are individually wrapped and very small! They are somewhat of a crumbly mess when you try to peel the liners off them.

They are indeed a vanilla-like brownie with noticable parts of chocolate from the embedded chips. These blondies are soft and moist, similar to that of Little Bites Muffins. Even the flavor is reminiscent of the chocolate chip muffins.

Very similar to Little Bites Chocolate Brownies. They’re soft and moist, however, for the texture, it comes off as really artificial. Taste-wise, it’s chocolate brownie tasting. Not dark, not light, just regular, average-sweetness chocolate. What’s disappointing are the supposed crunchy chocolate candies in them. These are incredibly thin and add nearly nothing to the texture! Overall, honestly, these are more boring than advertised. Just get regular Cosmic Brownies or make regular brownies yourself!

Instead of being mostly crunchy, there is a crunch from the cookie bottom layer while the top layer is very soft cookie dough. This cookie dough tastes like a mix of light caramel and cookie dough. Overall, the bar is about the same sweetness as a Twix and aside from the softer texture, is quite similar in flavor.

Very sweet and extremely artificial tasting. It’s like they had some caramel and overwhelmed it with sugar. In fact, it’s so sweet, it’s nearly bitter. I can’t see this being good with anything. It’s just not that good.
