Boba Milk Tea Jelly Belly
Score: 7 / 10
Each one more or less tastes like a close copy of its represented boba milk tea flavor. It’s almost surprising because Jelly Belly candies are super hit or miss, and more often than not, they come across as too fake. However, these are the real deal! You can really discern the flavor complexities. My personal favorite was the matcha!
Released July 2023. Found at Target.
Dunkin’ Easter Egg Chocolates
Score: 8 / 10
There’s three different flavors represented in this pack. Overall, they’re all very tasty and are great if you’re seeking something on the sweeter end.
Jelly Donut has a sweet white chocolate shell. Inside, more white chocolate bits mixed in to raspberry jelly. For the most part, the white chocolate overpowers the jelly. Also, it’s not really like the Dunkin’ jelly filled donut, however, the jelly does remind me of it.
The Coconut candy has a thin, sweet, dark chocolate shell, and the filling is an equally sweet, solid, but soft, coconut filling. I love how there’s almost a crunch from the coconut flakes inside. It’s definitely a lot sweeter than Dunkin’s coconut donuts!
Brownie Batter is absolutely brownie batter tasting if you added too much sugar. The candy reminds me of a truffle: a sweet chocolate shell, and sweet, semi-dark, soft-solid filling. In terms of resemblance, it’s a lot sweeter than Dunkin’s brownie batter filled donut, although the taste is very similar.
Released around early February 2024 for the Easter season. I’ve only seen these at Target.
Twix Shakers
Score: 5 / 10
Just meh. It’s just missing too much to be called Twix. This feels like the flavor profile is different and is missing a lot of the traditional Twix bar flavor nuance. It’s decent for topping your ice cream and others goods if you’re looking for something on the chocolate side.
Released September 2021. Found at Walmart.
Snickers Shakers
Score: 6 / 10
I dumped almost half the darn thing to taste it! However, when I tasted it, it was… alright. It fulfils the Snickers chocolate flavor but is missing the important peanut taste. Pretty good for topping stuff with, though, again, you need to use a lot!
Released August 2022. Found at Walmart.
Blueberry Muffin KitKats
Score: 7.5 / 10
The taste resembles Japanese KitKats: lightly sweet, not too artificial, and a very pleasant eating experience The blueberry wasn’t overpowering, and it tasted great with the crunchy specs throughout it!
Released early in April 2022, limited edition. Found at Walmart.
Hershey’s Strawberry Ice Cream Cone Kisses
Score: 7.5 / 10
Duncan Hines Fruity Pebbles Frosting
Score: 10 / 10
Thick, creamy, fruity pebbles in frosting form. Really, this tasted identical to Fruity Pebbles! This comes with a catch though: what do you put it on? I tried putting it on chocolate chip cookies but that was a waste. Perhaps some vanilla treats instead?
Released around February 2022. Seems limited edition, however, it still can be found in Duncan Hines’ Cake Mix Kit.
Black Forest Cake M&M’s
Score: 7 / 10
These are close to the typical Valentine’s cherry flavored M&M’s you may find every year. I was expecting more flavor complexity, such as chocolate or whipped cream, but neither really came through.
Released December 2021 for the 2022 Valentine’s holiday. Limited edition.
Creamy Reese’s Peanut Butter
Score: 5.5 / 10
The lie detector determined that was a lie. This is a jar of plain tasting peanut butter, nothing, and I mean nothing at all like the peanut butter you’d find inside a Reese’s. You’d be far better off buying another brand that isn’t as bland, and is little more sweet and salty.
Not sure when this was released.
Reese’s with Reese’s Puffs Big Cup
Score: 7.5 / 10
Like the originals, and with full-fledged mini crunchy puffs in the center which gives it more of a crunch. Interestingly, these tiny puffs weren’t at all soggy!
Released November 2022.
Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes Ice Cream
Score: 8 / 10
Vanilla ice cream with Christmas Tree pastries grinded up. The sprinkles, flavor, and just about everything was in there! All of it, like the cakes, comes across as fairly sweet. I really appreciate the attention to detail–you get the crunches from the green sprinkles, and it has a nice color and good texture overall!
Released November 2021. This may initially have been limited edition as some outlets report they returned in 2022. Walmart exclusive. Notably, several other different Little Debbie snack ice cream flavors have been released since.
