Hot Pockets Ranch Lovers Pepperoni and Buffalo Style Chicken
Scores
Buffalo Style Chicken: 6.5 / 10
Pepperoni: 6.25 / 10

Buffalo Style Chicken: Buffalo lovers may not enjoy this, simply because the buffalo flavor isn’t as strong as you might be used to. Is it the ranch cooling it down? I’m not sure, although either way, there is a noticeably creamy ranch taste paired alongside it. Still, as for the buffalo, it’s there, but it doesn’t have that much of a kick or hold the bold flavors of traditional buffalo. It’s essentially a more tame, unoffending version that’s supposed to please everyone. Additionally, the cheese and chicken, like the buffalo flavor, are also just decent, nothing more. There’s not a lot of cheese either, but it contributes just enough. Overall, these feel on the cheaper side, as well as unoffensive, and at the same time, not very impressive.
Pepperoni: Like the buffalo, it’s pretty mild. It’s like a toned-down pizza in a burrito. There are a few pepperoni pieces, cheesy-like sauce and chunks, and light helpings of garlic pizza seasoning. It’s not bad, but it doesn’t knock my socks off either. It needs to be dipped in some sauces to really save it… Perhaps some buffalo!
Both were released around April 10, 2025. Found at Walmart.
Wonder Creme Filled Chocolate Cupcakes
Score: 7.5 / 10

In terms of flavor and texture, it’s very close to Hostess Chocolate Cupcakes. Creamy, artificial dark chocolate all around, and sweet. Although these feel a wee bit softer and a little less dense, so it’s a preference (I prefer the Hostess). When popped in the freezer, interestingly, the softness becomes chewier, and they get denser; honestly, I like them better this way.
Released March 17, 2025, alongside other new Wonder bakery items. Found at Walmart.
Wonder Creme Filled Confetti Cakes
Score: 7.75 / 10

These are definitely the brothers of Hostess and Little Debbie. The cupcakes are moist and super creamy with a fluffy middle, although the thin shell does crumble a bit when biting in or trying to break apart, revealing the super soft cake inside. They’re sweet and have an artificial vanilla taste (which isn’t a bad taste, in my opinion, at least!). Compared to Hostess, these seem to be a hair sweeter, and the cake and vanilla flavoring is simply different (not in a bad way!).
I also love the design of these: frosting shell all around, although I feel it contributed to it breaking apart more easily. Interestingly, when frozen or chilled, the shell turns into a nice, pleasantly light soft crunch, and the cake as a whole no longer falls apart at all as it’s more dense–I kind of like it a little better this way.
Released March 17, 2025, alongside other new Wonder bakery items. Found at Walmart.
Doritos Late Night Loaded Taco
Score: 5.75 / 10

They definitely smell like they have taco seasoning on them. Biting into these, it’s simply a mix of taco seasoning with some kick, along with a background of the traditional Doritos taste. Together, it’s a good combination, although nothing to really write home about. It does its job and doesn’t do much more. If you like Doritos, you’ll like these; I’m personally just not the biggest fan of Doritos.
Released August 21, 2023, exclusively to Kroger. At some point, likely around early 2025, it became available elsewhere. Found on the Walmart website in April 2025.
Hershey’s Cookies ‘N’ Creme Popcorn
Score: 6.5 / 10

Surprisingly crunchy compared to other popcorn, contributed by both the popcorn itself, which has a sweet white glaze, and the generous amount of little chocolate bits. Overall, it has the Hershey’s Cookies ‘N’ Creme Bar vibes, but for the most part, it’s mostly a sweet vanilla-tasting popcorn with just a wee bit of dark chocolate in the background.
First released in May 2022, exclusively to Sam’s Club and Walmart. In May 2024, it was released to all retailers. Found at Walgreens.
Cadbury Caramel Egg
Score: 7.25 / 10

These eggs have a super thick, gooey, and sticky caramel inside. It’s moderately sweet overall, and the caramel has an artificial, almost “dry” taste to it. It’s not a bad-tasting caramel, but it’s not amazing or premium either. The equally sweet milk chocolate shell is on the thicker side and breaks apart when biting in. Honestly, I’d prefer a more premium and sweet caramel-filled chocolate candy like Hershey’s or Ghirardelli.
When the egg is chilled, the shell gets crunchier, and the inside gets thicker but remains soft to bite through. These are equally good at room temperature and chilled, from my experience.
Released in 1994. Found at Walgreens.
Cadbury Mini Creme Egg
Score: 7.75 / 10

As advertised, these are indeed the mini version of the Creme Eggs. Super sweet, thick gooey filling on the inside surrounded by a sweet milk chocolate shell. Even the inside filling itself looks and feels identical. Chilled, it remains sweet, but the shell is crunchier and the inside goo thickens. Overall, I much prefer the bigger Creme Eggs, as they have so much more filling!
Released in the 1980s. Found at Walgreens.
SuckerPunch Three Pepper Spears
Score: 5.75 / 10

Surprisingly seasoned! It has a mix of peppers that gives it a pleasantly spicy and well-seasoned kick, and it has notes of garlic and other seasonings in the background. There’s also a smidge of sweetness that brings down any traditional pickle punchiness. They’re probably the best pickles I’ve had, and frankly, if you’re a pickle person, you’ll definitely love these! However, if you really can’t handle any level of spiciness, you may want to think twice.

Baker’s Corner Snickerdoodle Blondie Mix
Score: 6.5 / 10

Instead of butter, I used applesauce, which made it fluffy. If you use butter, it will be a denser, bar-like cake. The baking time is about accurate.
The flour smells sweet and cinnamony. After baking and biting in, it’s soft, thick, chewy, and reasonably tasty. It absolutely reminds me of a coffee cake, albeit the flavors don’t seem as nuanced here. Simply put, this is a dense cinnamon and sugar cake with moderate sweetness. It pairs well with vanilla and frostings that have cinnamon, like Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Notably, if you use butter, I have no doubt it’ll be extra thick and more bar-like.
While I’m unsure of an exact release date, reviews date back to around April 2025. Found at Aldi.
Bridgford Monkey Bread Cinnamon Pull-Apart
Score: 6 / 10

These both look and smell just okay, neither of which is really all that strong. They have a sugar-cinnamon taste, but it’s really not all that sweet, and despite the little globs of sugary-cinnamon goo serving as the bottom layer and a thin glaze at the top, there isn’t much else. Really, most of the bread is plain and “un-cinnamonified.”
Texture-wise, it’s how you cook it. I popped it in the oven as recommended, and they came out soft and enjoyable. Nonetheless, overall, these need some additional sugar topping or something else to make the flavors pop.
