Subway Footlong Cookie
Score: 5 / 10
Contains a muffin-like, crumbly texture until it cooled completely. After cooling, there was still a dryish, chocolate muffin taste. Basically, it just doesn’t taste or feel like a cookie and instead resembles your typical, less than great, chocolate chip muffin.
Partially released in 2022, fully released in January 2024.
Subway Cinnabon Footlong Churro
Score: 5.5 / 10
This was interestingly chewy, and not crunchy like a churro. There was a crunchy piece and even that had a chewy inside. It also just tastes… off? Kind of like a churro but something about it turned me away. The cinnamon and sugar felt off-brand, and there wasn’t nearly enough of it!
Released January 2024.
Flipz Snickerdoodle
Score: 5.5 / 10
The coating on the outside of the pretzel is on the lighter side, although the super sweet creamy snickerdoodle still comes through. To me, unfortunately, the noticable salty pretzel flavor doesn’t work that well with it. Personally, I think there needs to be a much thicker coating or less of a salty pretzel taste.
Released early November 2024. Found at Dollar Tree.
WHOZEEWHATZIT
Score: 6.5 / 10
Tons of little crunchy bits make this chocolate bar crispy. It’s not soft whatsoever due to this inside. There’s the thinnest layer of peanut butter, but it’s mostly not noticable. Overall, it’s a chocolate crispy bar with a slight peanut taste that comes in moderately sweet.
Released February 2021. Found at Ocean State Job Lot.
Kathy Kaye World’s Best Popcorn Balls
Score: 5.5 / 10
Well, it’s a ball of sticky coated popcorn. Crunchy, semi-sweet, not much else. The flavor is fairly plain aside from the light sweetness.
Not sure when this was released. Found at Dollar Tree around Halloween.
Goetze Pumpkin Spice Caramel Creams
Score: 7.5 / 10
I love this texture, and it’s so sweet! It’s soft-chewy with a super soft white inside, and the flavor is that of a sweet sugary caramel with a background of pumpkin spice. All together, it all forms a pleasant snack, however, it’s not for those who dislike sweet things!
Likely released early fall 2024 according to reviews. Found at Dollar Tree.
Pringles Hot Ones
Score: 4 / 10
Spicy! And this is just the verde one?! Wow! It’s got a nice kick and a good amount of seasoning, so it’s not just spicy at least. Get these if you love spicy chips! One of the spiciest store chips I’ve found, definitely not for me!
First released May 2022 for a limited time along side two other spicy flavors, they came back again around October / November 2024. Found at Walmart.
Little Debbie’s Mini Christmas Tree Cake Donuts
Score: 7 / 10
Little Debbie, stop. These are not Christmas Tree flavored whatsoever. They’re regular, plain, moderately sweet donuts. The texture is decent, not too dry or moist, and the outside coating and sprinkles provides the slightest crunch. Getting back to the point… Stop the false advertising! These are just regular donuts!
Released October 2024. Found at Walmart.
Brach’s Mellowcreme Autumn Leaves
Score: 6.5 / 10
The flavors are fairly accurate, but for the most part they all taste sort of the same: sweet and sugary. Each has a light touch of the advertised flavor which is nice. Other than that, these really are just a sweet, chewy, and creamy artificial snack. Get them if you crave sugar!
Released fall 2024. Found at Walmart.
Russell Stover Dessert Inspired Truffles
Score: 8 / 10
Surprisingly less tame than regular Russell Stover candy. They’re still sweet, just slightly less–its more reasonable. Taste-wise, the flavors are semi-accurate. Confetti cake, red velvet truffle, cheesecake truffle, and the brownie truffle all taste as advertised. My favorite has to be the confetti cake and cheesecake truffle–it really feels like you’re eating a tasty chocolate room temperature cheesecake and chocolate birthday cake in candy forms. I also appreciated the soft inside textures which mirrored what they advertised.
Not sure when this was released, although likely around November 2024. Found at Walmart.
