Walgreen’s Nice! Gummy Candy Spooky Noodles
Score: 5.5 / 10
So cute! You get a few thick gummies that look like worms, eyeballs, and other things, as well a small amount of super sweet, thick red “sauce” to mix with it. The sauce is a sweet artificial “berry,” and the gummies taste and feel like plain gummies. Overall, the sauce is really what makes it.
Not sure when this was released, although it’s often seen around the fall time.
Funyuns Steakhouse Onion
Score: 6 / 10
The flavor of these is much more tame compared to regular Funyuns. These have an extremely light onion taste with an equal bbq/meat flavor. Overall, it’s kind of bland and boring. I expected much more from the Funyuns food line.
First released in 2015 for some time. Rereleased September 2024. Found at Walmart.
Entenmann’s Crumb Coffee Cake
Score: 4 / 10
Coffee cake? Why do I taste… lemon?! A light, vanilla-lemon cake with crumbles at the top. The cake is mostly dry, it almost feels stale. It’s also thick, and aside from that lemon-like taste, it’s plain. Really, what’s going on with this cake? It’s nothing as advertised!
Not sure when this was released, although it’s likely been around for a while.
Entenmann’s Marshmallow Devil’s Food Cake
Score: 7.5 / 10
Soft, milk chocolate cake that isn’t too sweet and the texture is soft and slightly moist. Much of the sweetness comes from the marshmallow-like tasting frosting. This frosting is slightly firm but soft, and honestly, there needs to be more of it because the cake layer is so large. Overall, it’s good, although it could be so much better with more frosting. I’d prefer a regular boxed chocolate cake that I can make myself where I can add a proper amount of frosting!
Not sure when this was released, although it’s likely been around for a while.
Aldi Bake Shop Cinnamon Danish
Score: 5.5 / 10
Looks amazing but the toppings are too thin. It’s mostly a plain, soft doughy danish that’s lightly glazed with cinnamon and sugar. It feels cheap, plain, and simply not worth it.
Released early October 2024.
Flipz Strawberry Shortcake Covered Pretzels
Score: 5.5 / 10
The lightest creamy strawberry taste, overpowered by the salty pretzel flavor. Overall, I really expected it to have a lot more of a strawberry taste… The coating feels so thin!
Released some time in 2023 alongside Cinnamon Churro. Found at Dollar Tree.
Bakersfield Gingerbread House Kit & Christmas Cookie Decoration Kit
Score: 6 / 10
The gingerbread men are pale and have a light gingerbread taste. For the most part though, it’s a bit plain, and the texture is dry and crunchy. The frostings it comes with aren’t as sweet as regular frostings, it’s quite light actually!
The Christmas house is weird. It’s plain, crunchy, and almost stale tasting. The frosting is weird, having an fruity’ish, off, weird taste. Overall, it’s just… weird. Not bad, just weird.
Not sure when this was released. Found at Dollar Tree.
Swiss Miss Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cinnamilk Hot Cocoa Mix
Score: 6.5 / 10
A less cinnamony version of the milk you’d find at the bottom of your Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal bowl. Granted, the flavor is also slightly different, but not by much. Overall, it’s a sweet drink with a very light cinnamon flavor. Kind of reminds me of horchata.
First released June 2022. These seem to come back every year around mid – late fall. Sound at Dollar Treee.
Chips Ahoy! Hot Cocoa Chewy Cookies
Score: 7 / 10
Moderately sweet, cocoa tasting cookies. There isn’t much else to it. There are white crunchy chips but they are quickly overpowered by the overwhelming chocolate taste. I also didn’t see any inside filling whatsoever! At least they’re soft and chewy!
First released temporarily in 2016, this returned October 2024.
Pepperidge Farm Holiday Nog
Score: 6 / 10
A light, crunchy butter cookie. That’s it. No eggnog flavor… Am I missing something? It’s just a decent (likely mislabeled) butter cookie.
First released October 2023, these have come back for the 2024 fall / winter season.
