Melt’ems Gingerbread
Score: 7 / 10
I expected the typical, almost punchy ginger flavor but instead, I was met with a moderately sweet, pleasant, gingerbread one. Honestly, I could easily eat these straight out of the bag! These would pair well with almost anything, adding a subtle but noticable touch in anything you dip!
Not sure when this was released. Found November 2024 at Walmart.
M&M’s Toasty Holiday Peanut
Score: 7 / 10
Close to regular peanut M&Ms in terms of both texture and flavor. However, this flavor has just a tad more toasty and sweet. It’s as if you threw a couple of peanuts onto the pan with sugar for a few seconds. The overall bold peanut taste is reduced and instead replaced with more nuance.
Released around October 2024 for the winter season.
Favorite Day Pumpkin Spice Whipped Cream
Score: 6 / 10
As advertised, this has a bold, noticable pumpkin spice taste. It’s not bitter, instead, it’s very creamy and moderately sweet. This would pair great on most things, although personally, I prefer regular whipped cream as this may overpower whatever it’s on.
First released around August 2022. Found November 2024 at Target.
Favorite Day Target Store Sugar Cookie Kit
Score: 7.5 / 10
Absolutely adorable! It comes with a cute Target cart and Dog, as well as lots of premium tasting decorations like gummies and hard candies. It also comes with a decent amount of sweet white icing and other colored frostings too. These do allow you to build an adequate Target store, although it definitely won’t look as nice on the box.
In terms of flavor, the cookie parts themselves are very plain and crunchy, made up for all the tasty decorations and frostings you can add. The white icing it comes with it very soft and sweet, and the rest of the candies feel a cut above the rest. Overall, this feels like a premium house building kit. As a side note, the Target cart and Dog are nearly impossibly hard and taste like bitter nasty dye!

Goetze Brownie Caramel Creams
Score: 7 / 10
Moderately sweet with a very artificial chocolate flavor. It reminds me of a better tootsie roll with decent tasting chocolate and a hint of that Goetze caramel flavor. It’s quite soft and lightly chewy, with an even softer inside. In the end though, at minimum, it has a very artificial brownie taste–which isn’t bad, it’s just something you may either find terrible or actually pretty decent (I fall into the latter camp!).

Sanders Maple Dark Chocolate & Pumpkin Spice Milk Chocolate Sea Salt Caramel
Score: 7.5 / 10 (both)
Pumpkin Spice: Immediately, there’s a salty taste from the outside followed by milk chocolate and thick, chewy caramel. The pumpkin spice is very faint, overshadowed by the inner caramel and chocolate flavored shell. Overall, the texture is pretty good as it’s thick and chewy. When it comes to sweetness, it’s pretty sweet, however, not overly so.
Maple: Similar to pumpkin spice except with a noticable dark chocolate and faint maple instead. Everything else, including the sweetness level and texture is the same.
Not sure when these were released, although it seems to be a fall exclusive flavor. Found at Stop & Shop.
Two-Bite Red Velvet Filled Cupcakes
Score: 8 / 10
These are so well-decorated! That aside, the flavor is on point too. They are decently sweet with a pleasant red velvet flavor. The texture is right right too, not too thin or dry. When it comes to the frosting, it’s thick, semi-sweet, and has a clear cream cheese flavor.
Frankly, by the taste and texture of these cupcakes, it feels homemade! The only small disappointment was the inside frosting, which just seems to be an extension of the top layor, extending down and creating a tiny pocket of cream cheese frosting–it needs to be more!

Appetitos Cranberry & Feta Mini Puff Pastry
Score: 6 / 10
Half of these had zero jam, and you couldn’t even taste any jam from the ones that did have some. The feta cheese completely overwhelms everything! And this feta cheese–it’s very fluffy and soft, and the flavor is just right, however, it is just too much–I personally had to take some off! Other than that, the dough is soft and overall, these aren’t terrible, they just need some minor improvements.
Not sure when this was released, although they seem to come around every year in November. Found at Aldi.
Choceur Dark Chocolate Marzipan Log
Score: 8 / 10
A thick, soft, moist marzipan inside. It’s sweet, and the dark chocolate shell provides a light, appreciated crunch. It’s your typical marzipan flavor with some added sugar, that’s about it!
Not sure when this was released. Found at Aldi.
Benton’s Gingerbread House Cookie Kit
Score: 7 / 10
The first I noticed was that this only comes with white icing, though, it’s about enough for most of your decorating. Notably, the taste of the cookie is definitely Christmas spice with a kick, not gingerbread. They’re moderately sweet, and with the icing, it’s a nice, sweet touch.
The kit includes a variety of candies, including sugary gummy Christmas trees and plain gummy balls, as well as cheap tasting hard candy and mints. Overall, the kit feels on the lackluster side given what it came with. At least give us more icing colors!
