This snack review has Aldi Choceur Cookies ‘N’ Creme, Snack Pack Cinnabon Pudding, It’Sugar Freeze Dried Sour Worms, Combos Stuffed Buffalo Blue Cheese Pretzels, and Justin’s White Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups. The worst out of the bunch had to be the pudding due to the artificial taste. My favorite though was Justin’s Peanut Butter Cups due to how all the flavors came together and how it wasn’t overly sweet.
Aldi Choceur Cookies ‘N’ Creme
Score: 7 / 10
The cookies and cream middle is both soft and has bits of crunch from the cookies. Overall, it’s fairly sweet but not overly so, and the chocolate shell is regular milk chocolate. The quality is about average, similar to Milka Oreo but tastes just slightly of less quality and cheaper. To note, each piece is long and individually wrapped.
Not sure when this was released, although I found it in Aldi August 2023. This brand is produced by Storck for Aldi stores.
Snack Pack Cinnabon Pudding
Score: 4 / 10
A mix of artificial tasting vanilla and cinnamon layers come together to form a cinnamon roll’ish flavor, although the artificialness is just a bit too strong and makes it taste off. Overall, fairly sweet and frankly, not something you will enjoy even if you love Cinnabon.
Released January 2023. Found at Walmart.
It’Sugar Freeze Dried Sour Worms
Score: 6 / 10
The same taste as gummy worms but much sweeter and the taste is further enhanced.
Texture is crunchy, kind of thin, crumbly, and breaks apart easy. Package is quite small and only has a few of these worms.
It’Sugar has been around since 2004. Not sure when this product was released. Bought on their website August 2023.
Combos Stuffed Buffalo Blue Cheese Baked Pretzels
Score: 5.5 / 10
These taste almost the same as regular Combos with the typical clear presence of cheese and pretzel. However, these are also just slightly spicy and have a hint of blue cheese flavor alongside it.
While the company has been around since the 1970s, I’m not sure when this product was released but reviews date back several years. Found at Five Below.
Justin’s White Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups
Score: 7.5 / 10
The overall sweetness is between semi-sweet and fairly sweet. The semi-sweet white chocolate is soft and pleasant, and the inner peanut butter is a bit sweet but not overly so. This inner peanut butter is not like Reese’s in terms of flavor, sweetness, or texture, and instead, it’s soft, and a little stretchy and gooey. A nice combination of flavors where nothing is overbearing or overpowers the other.
Justin’s has been around since 2004. I’m not sure when this product was released although reviews date back to a few years ago. Found at Whole Foods.
