Zero Sugar Raspberry Dark Chocolate Vitamin Water

Score: 6 / 10

Mostly raspberry with a hint of bitterish chocolate’ish aftertaste coupled with a traditional Vitamin Water taste. Nothing too crazy or out of the ordinary.

Released March 2023 alongside a new Coconut Lime Vitamin Water.

M&M’s White Chocolate Strawberry Shake

Score: 6.5 / 10

The sweet strawberry smell of these is so strong! The taste, however, is not as much. It’s decently sweet and is a creamy strawberry, maybe akin to a strawberry doused with white chocolate? Not sure, but it’s close. Interestingly, these M&Ms are around double the size of regular ones, and the inside is a semi-soft white solid filling.

Released January 2023 for the Valentine’s season. Found at Stop & Shop.

Hershey’s Strawberry Creme Hearts

Score: 7 / 10

These are almost entirely sweet, semi-dark tasting, and only have an ounce of taste that resembles a light creamy strawberry. And, despite the packaging showing a thick creamy filling, the filling is mostly solid in texture and very thin. They aren’t bad, but it feels like there is some false advertising going on here.

Released January 2018 alongside other Hershey’s candies for Valentine’s. Found at Stop & Shop.

Lambertz Compliments European Cookie Assortment

Score: 5.5 / 10

Why are these so expensive? The cookies are thin and cheap feeling. Each cookie also tastes nearly identical–the chocolate-coated ones as well, since the coating is super thin and not at all sweet nor really noticeable. It really did feel like I was more or less eating the same cookie over and over again.

The company has been around since the late 1600s, although I’m not sure when this product was released. They have a variety of different cookie sets.

Valentine’s Strawberry Cookie Dough Bites

Score: 6.5 / 10

These remind me of those yogurt candy balls you can find in stores. There is a creamy, semi-sweet, almost yogurt-strawberry taste with a hint of cookie dough. Nowhere near as cookie dough flavored or sweet as the original Cookie Dough Bites. The texture is similar though, soft and easy to bite through.

Released early January 2023 for the Valentine’s holiday. These have come back in January 2024 as well. Found at Stop & Shop.

Oreo Peanut Butter Cakesters

Score: 7.5 / 10

It’s so much better than the original Oreo Cakesters! The Oreo cookie pies themselves are a little stiff but still soft and slightly moist, and the filling is a moderately sweet peanut butter that reminds me of Peanut Butter Oreo in a whoopie pie form. I am genuinely surprised at how different these feel and taste compared to the original Cakesters.

Released January 2024 alongside Black & White and Gluten Golden Free Oreos. Found at Walmart.

Lindt Lindor Limited Edition Valentine’s Strawberries & Cream Truffles

Score: 8 / 10

A sweet, creamy strawberry as advertised, and I was surprised by how sweet it was! Anyway, what I also love about Lindt Truffles is the texture as well; the semi-hard shell with the smooth, soft inside is iconic! In combination with this flavor, it’s almost a bit magical!

Released January 2016 for Valentine’s. They have been released every year at the same time since.

Chocolate Frosted Donut Kit Kat

Score: 6.5 / 10

Milk chocolate and… something. I’m not sure if it’s a glaze or doughy taste, but it is sweet and makes the KitKat taste a smidge sweeter and less chocolatey than the original. These aren’t bad, but I’m going to stick with the OGs for now.

Released November 2023. Found at Walmart.

Kellogg’s Froot Loops Candy Canes

Score: 5.5 / 10

These are surprisingly super close to Froot Loops, but something about it makes it slightly bitterer, even artificial. They’re not bad overall; they just need a minor improvement or tweak to set them in the right direction.

Released sometime around November 2020. Found at Walgreens.

MalloWow! Hearts on Fire

Score: 7 / 10

These ridged, but soft triangle marshmallows are… interesting. It’s marshmallow but the texture is, well, more “ridged” or stiff in a way. They are reasonably sweet and despite the “chocolate cinnamon drizzle”, I could really only taste a light white chocolate with a hint of cinnamon. The crunchy heart bits were also a nice addition to the already eyebrow-raising texture.

Likely released in December 2023 for Valentine’s season.
