Yield: 9 inch Pudding Pie
Ingredients
- premade pie crust
- 1-2 packs instant pudding mix (make with milk)
- 1-2 cups Cool Whip or a whipped topping (optional)
- toppings or decorations (optional)
Utensils
- 9 inch (or any size you prefer) pie dish
- mixing bowl
Let’s Make It!
- Place the pie crust in the pie dish and then place it in the fridge to cool for 15-20 minutes.
- Using instant pudding mix and milk, create pudding.
- Take pie crust out of fridge and create a layer of pudding. If you are not using a whipping topping, you can fill it completely, but if you are, fill dish up about half way with pudding.
- Place pie in the fridge for a minimum of 1-2 hours to have it set.
- If you are using a whipping topping, after the pudding sets in the fridge, take the pie out and cover with the topping.
- Complete with any additional toppings or decorations.
- Store in refrigerator for up to several days.
Notes & Alternatives
- Any type of crust, pudding, and toppings can be used to create different combinations.
- Personal note: This is a favorite of mine! As a kid, one of my aunts would make this when I visited over the holidays. It was just made with graham cracker crust and pudding—I was hooked!
