Walmart Marketside Baklava
Score: 8 / 10
For such a cheap price, this sweet tasting baklava was absolutely a steal for the quality. Each one had distinct flavors and different notes that set them apart, something cheap baklava often doesn’t do. In addition, the texture and composition each is about perfect and resembles much more expensive baklava. With regards to freshness, it was middle of the road. It wasn’t prepared minutes ago by a bakery but it isn’t anywhere near being bad or “Walmart quality” either.
May have been released around October 2020.
Wendy’s Pumpkin Spice Frosty
Score: 8 / 10
One of the strongest pumpkin spice foods I’ve had, yet, it’s not overbearing or too much, it’s simply just so sweet and tasty! Honestly, not much else to say. Get this if you love pumpkin spice!
Released September 12, 2023 for the fall season.
Moser Roth Chocolate Truffles
Score: 7 / 10
From lightly sweet dark chocolate to the sweet white chocolate truffles, these all taste premium. Each one has a thick shell with a soft filling. For the price, these taste so much more premium than they let on.
Not sure when these were released, although this brand is produced by Storck for Aldi stores.
Moser Roth Mini Chocolades Filled with Hazelnut Creme
Score: 7 / 10
Each of these is annoyingly individually wrapped and are troublesome to peel off the foil. They’re all hard shelled milk chocolate balls that have a semi-soft hazelnut flavored center that’s reminiscent of Nutella but not as sweet.
Not sure when these were released, although this brand is produced by Storck for Aldi stores.
Choceur Salted Caramel Belgian Chocolate Waves
Score: 6 / 10
I really thought these would be chips covered in chocolate. Instead, they’re small chocolate shells in the shape of Pringles with bits of crunch pieces throughout. They’re lightly sweet and have a basic milk chocolate taste.
Not sure when these were released, although this brand is produced by Storck for Aldi stores.
